Also, if anyone knows of a good way to do this on outlook, that too would be appreciated. -
[ms office - 2010] bulk change building blocks on word
featured_spectre posted a topic in Office Software
Is there a way that I can run a script (VBS, Batch, whatever) to alter around 90 users building blocks, to delete an old entry and add a new entry in? I can't think of a sane way to do it other than going round all machines...and setting up a central store one is not an option as they aren't all on the same site, and some are mobile users remoting in. -
[ipad] Jailbreak classroom iPads? Install iusers/slices.
featured_spectre replied to DCUK6's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
If it can't be done without jailbreaking, tell the people that asked you to order it. Explain to them the ramifications (such as voided warranties if its found out), and that you'd be uncomfortable supporting them in such a state (if that is the case). -
This where I stand. Bugs - no problem, expected that, but everywhere I go, I am getting robbed essentially. Just seems to be a pirate fest and bounties aren't being paid out. Father In Law has the account now. I do want it too be better, but eh, if I get my own, I will wait until after release.
-
well the Father in Law that got the game for me, has gotten it back. He is interested in the game, me not so much, so I am done for now. May buy my own later on, but not right now.

Master Browser messages in event logs
featured_spectre replied to newpersn's topic in Network and Classroom Management
The computer browser service has nothing to do with Internet explorer or web browsing. It is a Windows service which helps you find other machines on your local network. If you are not relying on the computer browser service you do not need to worry about these announcements. -

Nope. Frontier will not issue refunds unless you meet that criteria...so good luck! lol I'll dig up the post I found it on later.
-
I was reading last night... The only way you get a refund on the game, is if you bought it at Kickstarter/Alpha/Beta level, and have NOT played it.

How to get wikipedia to add an entry?
featured_spectre replied to featured_spectre's topic in General Chat
Well it was noteable as it was the first one given to a land mine survivor in WW2 (ended up with his leg blown off and was missing 3 fingers). -
I am looking at wikipedia and noticed an ommission from one of their pages. My grandfather should be listed in an article of Iron Cross recipients for WW2 (yes he fought for the Germans), however his name isn't there. I have his certificate which he received along with the medal, would this be enough proof for them to make the addition?
-
Why. Between beta and release, you're looking at maybe another 5 or 6 patches...Now this is just dealing with general bugs. The bounty issue is a known one at the minute, and I think the only working way to get it going is to get the bounty from the system you took the hunt on.
-
You do know that none of your beta stuff will transfer when the game releases right?
-
Cracking middle name...same as one of mine! Congratulations to you and mother.

Haha. Bring it. *edit* If it goes anything like Eve does, then you'll have a tough time getting me. I ended up being like a bank towards the end, trading commodities, keeping spreadsheets etc. I cashed out my account for about £800 when I gave up on Eve, selling off everything I had for real world cash. I returned items to their respective owners, but I had so much left over from accounts where there was inactivity of over a year, that I sold it all off. Was a good time. lol

Out of curiosity, what faction did everyone choose?

Not sure if many people know about this, but if you go here https://www.youtube.com/account_playback You can set up options like not having the pop up things over the videos etc. So happy I can watch videos in peace

Yeh, many consumers are looking to get their money back on it. In the EU they have a case but in the US they're screwed.
