I know exactly how you feel, this was me 4 or so months ago.. pretty much have the essentials grasped now (i like to think )

We have shared documents actually docked onto the dock, they don't move from there. If this is almost what you want then it is done like; On a client machine install Server Admin Tools (found on Apple site) Open the Shared Area on the xserve in finder, connecting to the xserve as the admin or blah blah, and ensure you have the preference ticked to show connected servers. Open workgroup manager, highlight the group / users you want to have the shared area docked, click on preference (top left) then dock items. Drag and drop the shared area from the desktop into the Workgroup Manager section named Document and Folders. This first time you access the shared documents you might have to authenticate, I can't remember. If you do they can store the details in the keychain. If the user hasn't authenticated it'll just show as a translucent question mark

Hi Everyone Weirdly I am sat here with no problems to fix, no passwords to reset or homework to restore. Research is starting to get a bit glum and I'm heading towards checking out my favorite bands on Wikipedia. What sort of things do you do when everything is completed?

I've been interested in getting Rock Band, the only thing stopping me is the fact I don't have an xbox 360 Also.. I play drums alot and I get though a stupid amount of sticks. I guess that is what a combination of punk rock speed and hard hitting does. With rock band the sticks are harder than the pads.. which could end badly. Any drummers that have played rock band, whats the bounce on the pads like. I don't expect it to be the same as tightly tuned skins on a real kit, but is there any at all? I like my bounce

This really isn't important so I thought I should post this thread in here rather than the Mac one, really like to know out of curiosity more than anything. Whilst taking things apart next to my Imac G5 intel blah blah this year's model, I found that a screw was stuck to the black surface around the edge of the screen. I then experimented moving the screw all the way round the screen and found there were about 14 different magnetic spots round the screen. What are these for? I thought maybe a anti glare screen that just stuck to the front or is he glass panel in front of the LCD stuff on with magnets? As I said, not important but REALLY like to know.
