Does Apple's OS X 10.5.5 have it's own version of Window's MSCONFIG? I'd like to change some of the start up options so some of the processes don't run on login.

Is there a short cut to view show in Mac Powerpoint 2004? Like on a PC you can hit F5 to view show, is there one similar but different on a mac? F5 certainly doesn't work. Found a list of shortcuts using google but it wasn't any help. Cheers, Andy

We have an DNS Server here All other machines are fine also also my friend out of school has the same thing and it's redirecting his search results to the same kind of sites. I'm pretty sure its the ZlobDNS changer. Also run a HighJackThis and not really sure what to make of the results. There is one Name Server entry which isn't consistent to the other 2 in there, could this have something to do with it?

somehow ZlobDNS Changer has got onto our system. atleast thats what I think it is. If we do a search on google, click on a result it'll go to a different page, like a different search engine. We've attacked it with spybot s+d and it seemed to have gone away booted the machine up today and its back again? It's changing my pages again! but doesnt show in spybot why? how? more to the point HOW DO I GET RID OF IT!?

Any free games? So if I wanted Unreal Tournament GOTY Ed. I'd have to buy one, or one license, for every machine its going to run on?

We just happen to have a "spare" server and I suggested the idea of making a local games server. Before I do this... has anyone tried it before and had any problems with parents or other staff? What are the rules on licensing? Is it possible to just buy one game (Unreal Tournament GOTY edition for example) and play it on 16 or so machines? Or if we install it once on this server and then use Terminal Services to access the server and only allow the game to run in the terminal services session? would they be able to set up and LAN game with terminal services? And just any other views or information on the idea? Would be much appreciated Thanks, Andy

Are their any patches or anything that will allow Aperture to work on Leopard 10.5? I've just installed and it told me it can't run on this version of OS X. I would have read the packaging to find this out but I didn't have it... teachers are useful like that. But yea, anyone know of a way of making it work?

We have a iMovie drop box on the local hardrive. Students have read write permissions but nothing else on the hard drive.. they are warned that these drop boxes are whipped monthly so all work should be removed as soon as they can

what would you do with 17 BNC connectors and too much free time? and would it look anything like the picture attached? makes me wonder why BNC ever got replaced (in some cases)

Like the title says, All I want to do is copy a DVD Movie from one DVD to another. I have an external DVD drive with the disc I want to copy in, and a blank DVD disc in my Imac DVD drive. What software do I use to copy the disc from to another? Is there some free software which I could use or is better than anything on a Mac, but at the moment I can't find ANYTHING that will do this task for me. Cure my stupidity?

I'd have Windows desktop and a Mac laptop... I love the Macbook. Everything justs seems to work well and simple.

we used to hold a youth club where a Wii, Xbox 360 and DVD player were all linked up to a HD projector at the same time. Expensive youth club if you ask me.
