The badmail folder contains messages that can't be delivered, like NDR's with a non-existant recipient (mostly spammessages). I had this folder filling up and clogging my mailserver once... The way around this is to have your Exchange check wether or not a recipient exists when receiving mail, rather than accept the mail, check for the recipient and when te recipient does not exist, send a NDR (wich, in the case of spam, can't be delivered because the sender address was spoofed). If there are any messages in the badmail folder, just delete them, they can't be delivered anyway...

We use an Océ 2090, great machine. It does 85 ppm and can make A4 (out of A3) and A5 (out of A4) booklets. It is a monochrome machine... It also has a lot of other functions like queueing copy-jobs, scanning, archiving etc. It's pretty cheap to run, IF you use it alot (we do about 1 milion copies/prints per year on this machine for a school with 840 students... )

Have you checked your badmail foder? Maybe you should consider using quota's.

My situation is a little different, I think, because I live in another country (NL)... I have 24 days off + I work 40 h/week and I get paid for 36, those other 4 hours are for vacation. So I have about 50-55 days for vacation and normal 'days off' a year. I get paid € 33019,- (that's about 27882 Pounds) per year (before taxes). I also have a lot of overtime, so I'm free every wednesday afternoon until the summerbreak. (just 32 minutes left )

You posted your message while I was typing mine... But if you want to come to NL, to legally download some music or movies, I do know some cheap places for you to stay
-
I don't know about the UK, but downloading media (not software!) is legal in the Netherlands. It is illegal to upload anything, so you can't (legally) use bittorrent, but usenet isn't a problem (yet) . I agree on '1 (illegal) download does not equal one lost sale', if i really like something, i usually buy the CD/DVD.

Don't know about the UK's computer provisioning (as I work/live in the Netherlands), but i think the situation over here isn't much better... I've got PC's and servers which are over 6 years old But I did mean 'real vintage' hardware... At home I've got an old Commodore 64, one of the first 80386 PC's, a five meg harddrive (5.25", full height) etc. etc.

Fantastic!! I just love vintage hardware...

Printer not printing until spooler is restarted
Fuzzz replied to adamf's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
Have you tried another printerdriver, like the one for the HP LaserJet 4. I use that driver for many printers overhere... it's the first thing I do when i got problems with a printerdriver (HP or other). Most (laser-)printers will work perfectly with this driver. -
Maybe the ISA Firewall Client (or some other) is installed and active?
-
Can't you get a printserver from Kyocera to put in the printer? BTW: Your the first person i know of to call a FS/1010 a reliable printer... I don't buy KM-printers anymore.

Just to show off: http://www.speedtest.net/result/404812903.png I'm sooo happy with my fiberconnection!
-
What kind of connection do you have? xDSL, Cable or some other thing? What is the bandwith and overbooking as stated by your ISP? We are lucky to have a fiber-connection at 50/50Mbit (1:10). Yesterday I downloaded a 700+ MB movie from MSDN within a minute

We also had a condensate-pump failure a couple of times. (Carrier split-unit airco). The last time is was replaced by a Sauermann-pump (click), the aircon-guy told is was (one of) the best pump available. The only 'drawback' of this pump is that the tube on the inside has to be replaced every year, but the unit gets service every year anyway... @SpuffMonkey: It sounds strange, but the unit can be freezing because it's lost/losing its refrigerant... we also had that happen one time...
-
Then you've got it covered! (I have to get myself one of those too! )
