100% regret our decision to move to Smoothwall a year ago. Took them the best part of 9 months to fix an ongoing issue. Only really sped up when the CEO became involved. Counting down the days of the contract and will be looking at Sophos & Sonicwall more than likely.

Reviving this old thread as the issue is still ongoing with go4schools. Very frustrating. We upgraded and added the seating plan module too, and staff cannot use it to plan in these training days as nothing has loaded for this academic year. No timetables. No class lists. No seating plans. No data. Kinda defeats the purpose of go..putting data in front of our classroom teachers?

We plan to use schoolsmartcloud - Training and Products Built on Google Apps for Education as a homepage.

Hi Jamie, We want to setup an intranet homepage for all students and staff, we also want to enable group filtering. What's the best way of doing this? Do users 'have' to visit the unify page every time they login to link with ad? Thanks

Sorry not helping but echoing the issues with setting this up. Complete faff. Demo of RM filtering looked great but the AD Sync and forcing students to the unify site is annoying. Isn't a page I want them going t.

Hi, Trying to get my head around our fibre network and the limitations. We had the cables tested back in 2015 - some of the results attached. All cables are identified on this report as OM3. Looking at the results, the fact there are multiple tests on the same line - does this indicate: Year Leaders is 2 Channel? Lab is 8 channel? Finance is 2 channel? I can't seem to find how that would limit the speed of the cables. Currently we have a 1gb switches but want to know if these are capable of supporting 10gb? What is the difference (in layman's terms) with the multi channels - if this indeed means this! Any help understanding this greatly appreciated. Richard
