  1. ConXeasy SWA-401 Bit more powerful than others - has additional Bluetooth adapter too
  2. If you have not yet purchased a screen then take a look at the Philips signage screens. Use their free software for adding content - easy to use templates Decent price screens too
  3. Bin it and purchase an Epson Still as reliable after using them as our main supplier after 16 years Great after sales too.
  4. TP Matrix in Oldham [emoji106]
  5. Same old thing - You get what you pay for !
  6. VGA slowly been phased out Lots of LED screens now do not have VGA connections
  7. Hi We have experienced HDMI issues when installing various touchscreens. A relatively inexpensive HDMI booster (approx £14) has solved all issues
  8. Oh forgot to say, nowhere near £700 more for the larger one !
  9. We have installed both the E70 and 4065, the latter 5in smaller only the difference but a lot less expensive - which is why they are more popular. If budget allows then obviously the larger.
  10. Is anyone else experiencing problems with smarts interactive touchscreens when using smart notebook ? A few of our edu customers have had screens replaced due to sunlight and UV lighting issues, However we still have problems - Pen switching to select, When trying to select a numbered box and move it in a maths quiz - sometimes works then sometimes does not When trying to scroll down a list - the whole screen tries to move down Have deleted latest software, tried the old version, re-installed new. Put powered USB hubs in. Cleaned corners etc etc Help
  11. Ideal to have both VGA & HDMI when having any new equipment installed. Re the HDMI cabling issues - inexpensive boosters have solved all our speckle/flickering issues on short or long cable lengths
  12. Touchscreens for us. No lamps, no maintenance and no more dull images. Can be attached to height adjustable electric lifts - suits all ages/size of children. Or attach one to a mobile trolley, can be used anywhere
  13. Yes some of our customers now trying the Prowise software. Some that are using it say it's problem free. Just need to convert the teachers. Def looking at supplying the Prowise. Feel sorry for the schools that have purchased the Smart ones. You can tell from the reply from the so called Tech Support Team that they are reading from a script. You would think that after the demise of Steljes they would pull their fingers out. Their loss in the long term. Would be very interested in any other problems people are having !
  14. Is there anyone out there - other than the Smart Tech Guys that can help out please ? We are having loads of problems with what I think is software issues -screen interactive but pens not working - Interactive one minute but not the next - switching from pen to select - gaps in ink when writing. Up to date software Re-calibrated the screen No direct sunlight or bright lights Cleaned the corners Contacted Smart, did what they asked. Their reply - asked the same questions as previous email !!!
