To anyone that is interested in this position.Over the last 5 years we have had three apprentices and two senior technicans leave us for bigger and better things, we have a culture of continous improvemennt within the department. The school has just received a good from OFSTED following 5 years of RI. Our infrastructure is managed HP with fortinet wave 2 ac site wide wireless. We have almost completed the move to windows 10 and over the summer a new 2019 domain will go online (not an upgrade). We have three clustered VM Ware hosts, three SANs, and a couple of hundred iPads. If you are thinking of applying you are most welcome to take the opportunity to visit or have a chat over the phone. I need a solution to copy all users data from their home directories (on site) to their one drives. We have AD sync and I have looked at the sharepoint migration tool but can't find a suitable example, anyone done this? Or found a better way?

Our current senior technican (who attained this position in 2016 after starting as an apprentice 6 years ago) is moving on and we are seeking to appoint a Senior techncian or someone with the potential to develop into this role. The IT services department within the school manages an estate of over 300 PC’s, 200 iPads and 30 Macs as well as telephony, CCTV and facilities in our own conference centre. Our infrastructure is continually upgraded to ensure we are operating with the latest technologies and we have an excellent working environment. We pride ourselves in the development and training of our IT staff, most of whom advance their careers within the IT Industry. The person we are looking for to offer this opportunity to must have a desire to learn, to take on responsibility and eventually to train and lead others. Hi People I help out with the IT at a local children's charity based in Blackpool called Aspired Futures Aspired Futures - Home and they need an interactive whiteboard (and projector) preferably one you can touch (not just pen like old prometheans) If anyone out there is upgrading or has one they could spare I'm sure the charity would be very grateful.
