    I stopped them all in services both for SQL and sims. The VM is: 4 VCPU 8 GB Ram We don't use discover or anything exotic just plain SIMS and SOLUS 3 on the box.

    Did this last year to a 2012r2 / SQL 2014 SIMS server with Disk2VHD. Just stop the sims / SQL services first! Been working great since!
