Consolidated Workstation Patch 3 was meant to fix this. But we still get schools with the error. Is the fix to whitelist the urls/i.p

Hi Has anyone got issues with thrid party apps. have had a few schools today report third party apps do not sync, T2- MISSYNC, Xporter. All passwords log me into sims, just these apps say invalid username/password.

Hi Any update on this. I have a school that CPU is at 90 percent. As soon as i stop SSM then CPU goes to 14 percent. ESS have advised to Stop DEX. But that will stop Next Gen sync.

Hi We have the setting for Under 18 on for pupil accounts, but when accessing YouTube, Users get the YouTube is blocked for Under 18s. Users have to sign out of The browser or go incognito to use it I have tried all settings to get this to work. Does anyone have ideas on this. Turning under 18 off not an option.

Seems right, One of our schools logged in at 6 am and got the error. After 7am it was fine. Ideally the server needs to stay up every thursday

Error was still happening this morning for one school. They report the patch didn't resolve it. Then they report it fixed itself at 7.15am. Have another School that still has it for FMS today

So they are re deployable Mutiple times

Are these the same patches as last week, or are you releasing new ones in solus3 to all

I tried it on a case I had and it worked. Also the school that had the issue with FMS reported it to us 2 weeks ago. I couldn't log a call to ESS, as no access on their new site. Applied the patch today and that school resolved it self. So this issue has been in the background. We have not had any major FMS calls today. Sims was more of an issue today.

Hi, We have not had reports of FMS, If this patch is applied and the school don't have issues, Is it likely to cause an issue in sims/fms. Just wondering if it can be deployed site wise to stop calls

Hi. Get Network not available on Chromebook's used within a school. It only happens on a school wifi. All settings are correct in the Admin Tenancy. Any Ideas.

Im talking searching for pupil records. so focus - pupil details

We have, so i have run reindex patches, the server has 18gb of ram, SQL has enough assigned to it. Before reports were slow when SQL was set in SQL compatibility Mode to 2012. Since then i set it to 2022 and sims loads up in 10 secs and reports are fast. But we cannot get pupil details to be fast. This takes about 6 seconds which the school say is slow. Database diagnostics did show some pupils missing surnames etc.

Hi. Is there a magic number for the commantimeouts. We have an issue where pupil details takes a long time to load. the rest of sims is Fine. currently i have comandtimeout=1000000 in the connect.ini. Is there a better number to use to speed this up.

Hi, We recently installed a new server for a school. Since then they are complaining SIMS is slow. Server is SQL 2022 and Server 2022 OS. Now we had ESS on remote, they said all was fine. I had SQL in 2012 Compatibility mode as per ESS request. Upon changing to 2022 Mode its significantly faster. Reports were taking 90 Seconds plus. Now they are 10 secs. Ess recommend 2012 compatibility mode, but in our case this made it slow. Does anyone know why 2012 mode is recommended. Also why would doing something ESS don't recommend make it faster. Now one issue that the school still find slow is loading Pupil details. Its taking a good 10 seconds. This is slow for the school. We have tried everything, Commanttimeouts in connect.ini. Reindex patches etc. Are other schools mostly getting this time on pupil details. Its the only thing that is now slow on sims.

similar on chromebooks., just crashes

Hi, We use microsoft remote desktop on a few chromebooks for schools to access sims by remoting to a terminal server. Since September have had issues where the app crashes when users go to sign on. Google support say to update the Chrome OS. this has not worked. I have also factory reset them. Powerwashed etc. Seems to be the older devices. Any ideas please.

So does anyone know of a replacement. Something that syncs with FMS, I know parentpay and Studybugs MIS Sync will do dinner money

Hello, as pay360 is expiring in JULY 2023. Does anyone know of any alternatives to do the writeback back to FMS and also do the sims dinner mney parts that pay360 does.

I too have been asked to go into developer mode on a device with the issue.
