Any motorbike riders here? First time rider advice.
gady replied to burnsyb0y's topic in General Chat
Yeah you can ride a 50cc with no L plates and a pillion if you have a full license. You don't have to retake your CBT to ride a 50cc, 125cc or anything else if you already have a full license. -
Removing the bios battery and unplugging all cables should reset it no?

School lunches are OK, overcooked sweetcorn and under cooked broccoli isn't great though...

Not true, 200Hz is a ridiculous refresh rate for a T.V and would be negligible because TV, Sky HD, Blu-ray and what have you only display up to 60Hz. Your T.V probably isn't even 200Hz, that's probably just a marketing trick of some sorts.

Found an old 4k monitor tucked away... to think they were stuck with 3840 x 2160 pixels and 2 dimensions! And only visible with eyesight no direct brain induction!

The big debate: Should we be moving to Linux in Schools?
gady replied to Wubbalubbadub's topic in Blue Skies
That's just a fancy way of saying "We'll use it because it's free", which is essentially the same as "We'll use it because it's not micro$oft". Unfortunately, in the eyes of budget holders anyway, this is the main driving force. My main point, though, was that open-source is a brilliant tool that should be used a lot more. Don't Microsoft have enough money, anyway? -
We leave it to the kids to shut down, and give them detentions if they don't

Brilliant idea, there seems to be a mindset that non open-source software in education is the only way to go and anything else is rubbish/impossible/doesn't work/not mainstream enough. It's good to see there are people who are willing to prove otherwise and keep as much money away from micro$oft as possible! -
That, sir, is a heinous crime.
