The successful candidate will be supporting Epidemiology & Health Care (IEHC) and several other research institutes based in central London, mainly the Bloomsbury area. The purpose of the IT & AV Officer role is to deliver prompt, customer-focussed 1st & 2nd support to staff, student and honorary contract holders. The post holder will provide support for computer desktops, mobile devices, audio visual & multimedia equipment, printers, specialist equipment and other peripherals located across a number of customer sites. The post holder requires experience providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to staff, including installing client devices (both PCs, & Macs) and associated peripherals and dealing with hardware faults and software incompatibilities. The post holder requires experience in providing 1st and 2nd line support for audio visual equipment. The post holder also requires significant knowledge of Windows operating systems and strong problem solving & fault finding skills.
