  1. Hello, I recently bought a BlackArmor NAS 110 so that I could remotely store my things and access them where ever I want with an FTP client... I set it up so that anyone could access it, both the CP and FTP worked, how ever, when you try to login to the FTP it would accept the connection and login successfully... but then it would time out on the directory listing and disconnect. FTP Client: FileZilla Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this problem?
  2. Hi everyone, I want to make an update system for a program I made, I can download programs from my website fine, but I wanted something that doesn't freeze my program while it downloads and shows the progress of it like that of web browsers. Thanks.
  3. I am making a program that uses the WebBrowser control to display a picture as a form of "online advertism" that can be easly updated effectivly using a website, such as Xfire ... how ever ... when I add this control and use it, the page never loads ... it will always say "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" or "This program cannot display the webpage" when refreshed. At first I thought it may be a problem with my PC, so I then copied the files over to my laptop and had the same problem ... a while back a jumper switch kept turning off on our main board ... at the end of it all I reset my hub because when the power came back on it wasnt connecting to the internet, I doubt that would have anything to do with this as the WebBrowser control uses IE? ... and my IE works fine ... before I finally decide to give up and blame my hub for the problem, is there anything I could try to do in VB2008 itself? Thanks.
  4. Hello everyone, I had bought a Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO about a month ago, I was using it on my Vista 64-bit which meant I didn't need any drivers, a few days ago I had to reset my BIOS because I couldnt load any of my OS's fully and it would give me the BSOD, after doing that nothing would load at all, so I installed my Vista 32-bit as this was the only one I could find. I knew that I would have to install drivers for my G+ MIMO, so I went onto the Belkin.com website and downloaded their 4xxx drivers, theses didnt work, so I tried the 3xxx drivers, and they didnt work... is there anyway I can get it to work? Thanks. -- JavaNocKziK

  7. Lewis Spriddle... previously banned for experimenting on school computers and was warned about emailing ICT staff on EduGeek, I don't think you have the right to come on here and bitch.
  8. So? Who cares if I'm a gamer, who plays Counter Strike? No one! I came here for help, thats one of the reasons many people come here! To share / exchange and help. I was asking for help, would really like that. Thanks.
  9. Actually I'm an ICT administrator for a company. I want the ability to allow staff to chat to other people in other rooms on the network or request for help from their workstation. I would code my own program but I only know Visial Basic 2008 but I'm a bit rusty with that, so was just wondering if someone could help me. Thanks.
  10. Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me produce a program. I was thinking along the lines of a program that would 'net send' the another computer on a LAN network but without using net send in the command promt. Does anyone know how I could get this to work with two text boxes, one for the PC name and the other for the message aswell as a button to send the message, displaying it on the other PC in a dialog box.? Source Code / Code Snippets would be a great help! Thanks.
