  1. sounds good. Legend that is Joe at CP has one winging its way to me now so ill do a little review or something when we get it. Still interested in the trolley as and when...
  2. Hi, We are also considering it but our meeting with Microsoft has been delayed for now.
  3. we also use Toucan, they are good.
  4. cheers lads - got it from here
  5. anyway i can get a copy today I left my memory stick at home and didnt have it elsewhere.... not desperate but I could use it later!
  6. anyone else played with one yet? im likely to order one today to try out against an NC20, seem like a great product to me although its a shame about the 24pixels they lost
  7. we have a lot of Krone here, it seems to be good stuff but I still feel its a bit overpriced! I install a lot of own brand stuff from Comtec now.
  8. yeah public site... must see if we have a premier login (and not post my prices ) as I dont usually deal with Dell.
  9. I priced one earlier with: 802.11N 3 yr warranty 6 cell battery NO TOUCHSCREEN OR WEBCAM £439 inc VAT.
  10. wow nice find! Just recieved a Samsung NC20 yesterday but I want them to buy netbooks with N wireless cards in and have a decent warranty. Those 2100 allow us to do both and add accidental damage cover etc etc if we need to, plus they are rubberised! I think they are happy with a 10" screen anyhow and that trolley is a brilliant idea if its not overpriced!
  11. our new block has them in every room and corridoor and they work well, makes sense to me.
  12. thats why we do all ours ourselves we used to do them with predetermined lengths of cable but its fiddly if you dont have a loftspace. now we by custom faceplates with screw terminals so we run the cabling from projector to wallbox then chop and wire everything to the faceplate.
  13. yep most of our Avayas do this so you dont need extra sockets, instead you go Socket -> Phone -> PC great idea.
  14. legend thanks! it could be worth it for mass shutdowns depending on how much I can get them for
  15. Hi all, I have just been given a PowerDown unit made by e-on to test CLICKY LINK Im trialing it on a desktop with a monitor/speakers/VGA spitter attached so these are powered off when the PC shuts down, the one thing I was worried about was the 'wake on lan' but I can power on from NetSupport no problem! It seems like a great idea especially if quite a few devices are attached - are any of you guys using them or do you know of any other manufacturers that are making them? Thanks!
  16. all our copiers are Ricoh and we have replaced our ageing Konica Minolta with a Ricoh Aficio MP C7500 and its already done 25000 A3 colour prints no bother at all. Its leased by the way.

    school meals

ours is cheaper than that... namely FREE and the food is great 99% of the time too!
  18. not the little amp overheating or something?
  19. Ive just done the very thing for the last year or so, so its not such a pain next time! Swapping a bulb out takes a bit longer as you need to remove the whole bracket but its 60% cheaper and future proofed a little
  20. we're almost the opposite, all our APs are now N but only our new E6400 and macbooks are N.
  21. sorry its off topic but the name of the software makes me chuckle
  22. Almost finished installing our Ruckus (about time eh Mark!) and so far very pleased with it. Just having central control is excellent and getting users on the wireless for the whole site in one go has gone well.
  23. id replace all the OEM speaker with amplified ones then see if you want a sub. 8" sub will give you good SQ and wont take up too much room!
  24. let me know saw this late too
