Hi We have a 4100 switch and lots of 2524s, I would like to start using VLANs. However would like a good guide to configuring VLANs on these switches. ANy pointers would be greatly received. In the first instance we need one VLAN to support the install of Video Conferencing software Thanks Rob

Does anyone use these or other toshiba laptops in classrooms for kids? I want to know what the build quality is like, especially keyboard flex and how robust the screens are? Also if anyone has any recommendations, tough and long battery life is what we are looking for. Thanks

The error I had was the client wouldn't authenticate. The status of the wireless would remain on validating identity. I created a new certificate with a different name, assigned it to the server and client and changed the IAS policy and it worked fine. Thanks for the help, very happy

Thanks for the excellent documentation. I have configured my IAS Server, deployed certificate and group policy. I am currently tested one client and the wireless hangs with a status of Validating identity. The wireless point I am testing is a ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag, I have entered the IP Address, IP Port and Radius Secret. On the server I get the following error; Event Type: Error Event Source: IAS Event Category: None Event ID: 16 Date: 05/11/2008 Time: 10:19:24 User: N/A Computer: servK301 Description: A RADIUS message with the Code field set to 1, which is not valid, was received on port 1646 from RADIUS client Server Cup HP Procurve. Cracked it! syntax for wine to run an .exe file from .desktop env WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

We use kaleidos student website, which requires shockwave. There is no shockwave for linux so we run it under wine and it works great. Just need to create a nice icon for firefox under wine and it would be great Cheers

Hi, I need some help. I have firefox working through wine. However what I need is to get the icon I created to work, If I run the following from the command line it runs fine wine "c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe" I have edited the .desktop file with loads of different variants but can't it get it run, so close!!! Thanks
