Morning All, I've got a user who is running .exe files from a network share, however, all of a sudden it is now presenting the user with 'Open File - Security Warnings' when they try to run this file. Is there a way of allowing the file to run automatically without the prompt appearing? I have attached a copy of the error message if it helps? Thanks in advance!

Morning, I have got a issue with a number of laptops where they are failing updated their group policies due to a lack of connectivity to my 2 DCs. From some desktops I am able to ping the 2 dcs through both IP address and DNS name, however on the laptops I am only able to ping via the IP address. I've tried flushing DNS records with a ipconfig /flushdns and can't see anything in the event viewer on either of the DCs or the laptops. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi All, I am looking for some advice, I have installed a new SCCM 2012 R2 server and am trying to push the SCCM client out to a couple of test machines, all running Win7 Enterprise, however, the install doesn't seem to be successful. My main issue from telling everyone to just us email was due to we are an specialist engineering/computer science college, some of the CAD files were too large to be sent over email so OneDrive was the only option.

I have had Office 365 in for about a year and a half. Initally we were only using it for email, however, this year USB storage for students was disabled forcing them to use OneDrive and I am starting to really push the free copies of Office. In the summer, I am working on a plan to utilise more of what Office 365 has to offer, ie SharePoint, OneNote, etc.

I've been stumped by a problems which end-users are experiencing when trying to access the Spiceworks portal which is authenticated with AD. When they click login, they get a IE/Chrome login box as seen below, any ideas how to overcome this so it just logs in as expected with no user interaction.

When I tried Impero on win10 I had to backdate .net framework to v3.5 and disable WCF services under .NET v4.6

Thanks for the swift response, the ticket from the user was: 'If I follow links in emails it defaults to opening in internet explorer. Trouble is, the websites don’t have as much functionality as they do in google chrome. Is there any way that it can default to opening in google chrome?' I am just hesistant at changing the settings for one user, I am more tempted to go on the opinion of @DaveP

Evening All, I am after some suggestions, I have got a Toshiba Satelite Pro R50 which wasn't detecting the wireless card so I have reimaged the laptop. Once reimaged, it detects the wireless card, however, it is unable to detect any wireless SSIDs. Is it worth sending it to Toshiba support under warranty? Thanks in advance!
