  1. Shame, I could never play GTA because my driving style was Carmageddon... fortunately, not my real-world driving...I read roguelike...
  2. First I've heard of it, and I was in their Kickstarter for Reincarnation....they never write....
  3. Same here, seems to be *fixed*, 4 with 400 I had in the office seem to work fine now. 14 Dec 2023 23:44 UTC Our Engineers have taken measures that would mitigate the issue. 4. Got to say we've had some we though were fixed come back thanks for the update, I was stuck on number 2 on Google support for 30 minutes so gave up. gone back to have another go at google, number 2 again. If it was the TV show "The Prisoner" I'd be happy....
  5. We seem to be getting random ones getting 400 error, ChromeOS flex and Chromebook proper, some work when restart, but otherwise, I've had to deprovision them factory reset and same model replacement. Then (after adding it the openest wifi) I do not enrol it and sign in with a work account and it updates, then I enrol it (it powerwashes) go through the normal enterprise enrolment and it seems fine. I think its an Update with the Enterprise Admin Google side, but am not sure. Hmm we just had to sign in on the unfiltered wifi to get it to work the first time, seems alright after a reboot.
  6. The Drama department have a Camera than records everything as .MTS files, and every 30 minutes, makes a new one. For part of the exams they have to upload it as .MP4, I had a look at a basic converter and noticed that it said the files in .MTS were the same size as the files out. MP4. So I tried renaming the file extensions and that worked, but does anyone know if you lose any quality in doing it? Cheers.
  7. When putting ChromeOS Flex on old equipment you have to factor in paying for a chrome upgrade licence so you can manage them (around £27). Also when deprovisioning, do the upgrading "Same model replacement" or you will lose the licence. (I've lost 97 as we didn't know). I'm hoping to move a room over from Windows to ChromeOS Flex to see.
  8. Hi Bruce, having a similar situation to you, APs dropping wifi access and needing to be rebooted. We are on 8.0-SR1-2 (new install replaces the old Juniper/Trapeze system) and I was wondering if I could ask how long it took to run the 8.0-6-0 update, as we might have to do it after the school day has ended (about 100 aps) as they rarely let us have any downtime in term. Thanks.
