  1. I'm using the canon driver as well. I'm able to get the printers/ports/driver added. The issue I'm running into with with the related to job accounting. When printing, it's not prompting for the accounting codes. Any ideas on how to get the other extra stuff installed? I have the cab, cat and inf file along with the scripts for installing/uninstalling.
  2. Not sure which forum this should be posted in. Please move it if it should be elsewhere. Many of our classrooms have the following setup: Hardware: Epson PowerLite 93+ Dukane 335 Document Camera Windows 10 Pro Varying computers The systems are wired as follows: Computer VGA to Document Camera in Document Camera out to Projector Over the past year, we have moved the majority of our computers to Windows 10. We are running into situations where a computer awakes from being asleep and the projector and the computer are out of sync. The image will be moved to the middle of the screen. Turning the document camera on/off or selecting the AUTO button on the remote will resync the computer and projector and the image goes back to normal. This has occurred primarily with Windows 10 machines - though not with all of them - with an assortment of hardware. Has anyone else run into a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
  3. ActivInspire version: 2.5.66477 WinTab driver installed All the latest Windows 10 drivers installed Tried every setting for "Dual Mode ActivBoards" and none of them work. If I pick "Use Touch instead of ActivPen", when the surface pen touches the screen, I get a dot (if I am in pen mode) but it doesn't continue to work if you try to write/draw with it. Touch via finger works correctly.
  4. What I would like to do is be able to run ActivInspire on my Surface Pro 3 and then connected the surface to a projector via the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. The surface/project/display adapter works great. ActivInspire will not recognized the surface pro 3 Pen. I am running windows 10 and have tried an assortment of settings in ActivInspire and nothing seems to work. Suggestions? Should the pen work in ActivInspire?
  5. In our environment, we have a mix of Windows 7 workstations and think clients. We are in the process of moving redirected user files to a new server. New GPO's have been created to change the location of folder redirection (appdata, my documents, desktop, etc). I've setup a couple of new users in a test group to test out the new policies. When I login on a workstation, the folder redirection works correctly. My documents and etc point to the new server. The Libraries work as expected with My Documents listed under Documents along with Public Documents. When I login into via a thin client - the Libraries doesn't contain the redirected folders. Only the Public Documents is listed. I am not able to save any files in the documents library as it tells me there are no folder created (or similar error). The new GPO's are essentially the same as the old ones that work in both cases in both environments with the old server. I've been scouring the forums and internet for hours. I feel like I am missing something obvious. Is it a permissions issue? Other ideas?
  6. Just wanted to post a quick update. Created a new GPO with the same settings as above the and folder redirection is mapping as expected. Didn't really do anything different, so I don't why the first one was different.
  7. I did check the file names when I looked on the new server and found what looked like 2 document folders! The old files are in a folder named "My Documents" (displayed as documents). The new folder created is named "Documents". I believe if I just rename the folders, it will map to the correct location but I don't really want to have to do that for all of the users and in turn for the other items such as pictures, videos, music, etc.
  8. We are in the process of redirected folders to a new server. The GPO for the previous server use the basic setting and pointed everyone's folder to the same root directory. The folders created for the students folder was My Documents. On the new server, we are moving each grade level into their own folders and setting up the GPO to point to different directories based off of the security group for the user. This setting maps to a directory named Documents rather than My Documents. What's the best to hand the folder name difference? Do I have to rename the folder for all of my users? Other suggestions?
