  1. I once had all the permissions disappear for the staff group and had to reselect all the permissions for them on console access rights tab of the Impero server
  2. You can find out if your favourites Folder been redirection by GPO at User Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Folder Redirection Is this the setting you disabled to view the favourites? User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Browser menus
  3. If your working with Microsoft systems then hard to beat Microsoft Virtual Academy for free then can just pay to sit exams if you wish
  4. Of all the systems I've had to work with papercut by far my favourite in terms of features and reliability
  5. Do you know where the favourites are stored and that users have the correct permissions to edit this folder?
  6. It depends on the size of your network and personal preference but in the end they both achieve the same result. Printer static IP is the tried and tested solution but If there are a lot of printers of various makes and DHCP server already up and running then I tend to lean towards DHCP static IPs as its updates the DNS and cuts down on set up time for new printers plus it means more central and less printer configuration but if there are only a few printers then static IPs Same as Davit2005 said I have met the odd forgetful printer
