How much is he after? Cause I am looking for a new bike, possibly picking one up in the half term holiday! My bike doesn't look like that picture any more. It's got no handbar grips, no gear shifters and no derailiers at all! Absolute nightmare
-
I ain't going anywhere any time soon, so it's UK model/price for me And I'm paying more for my HTC one m7 now than I would be for the m9 and I'd get more from the new contract, and that's with vodaphone (who I'm with now)
-
As much as I hate to say this, I think I will wait a few more weeks after the release date for the HTC M9, once I'm convinced they have ironed out all the creases. That sort of benchmark temp can't be safe surely! The heat that reaches ( you'd have tanned hands) I think once things have cooled down a bit (pun not intended) I will consider upgrading.
-
@abillybob glad you sorted it in the end, and yes I had that problem a few times have to keep going back and wiping devlik cache and formatting the phone over and over until it picks up the new root OS, And yes there is always a way to do it, but for those that don't know what they are doing should stay away. Won't be doing it to my new phone though!

I'm glad I worked out okay for you, I rooted two phones last year one went perfect the second... Not so perfect. It was nearly a house brick, spent weeks trying to find the correct Firmware and rooting software for this. Glad you didn't have much trouble.
-
Does it give you the option to update in your settings?
-
Yes if there isn't an official update then rooting it and flashing the firmware is your other option, not necessarily the best one though
-
I thought that with the m7 but I still chose silver and I'm glad I did the smudges are fine,
-
SILVER All the way! Got silver m7 and will not change, that gold streak though [emoji108]
-
Even my 2year old has got a dummy HTC phone!
-
Yes that'd be the best option but I'm pretty set on HTC now I think. I've started something in our house, We used to be nothing but Samsung since the very first 4inch Galaxy phone. But now I've got everyone on HTC I've got m7 GF got m8.
-
Yes I wouldn't mind that sort of size but not sure what I'd go for, HTC is great at 5inch Nd then there's the s6 which is slightly bigger. So I'm stuck
-
I'd rather send it off, not to fussed here at work, I'll take anything apart, apart from my own stuff!
-
Yea I've never had an pocket trouble, was just curious I really like the sound of the nexus, but the backing quality has put me off. Think it's HTC for me!
-
I wouldn't risk taking my phone apart, knowing my luck I'd never get it back together, it's all metal anyway...
-
How big is the OPPO? My m7 is just under 5 and the new m9 is around 5 I think it's an okay size but wouldn't mind if it was bigger. ( I think we need to specify what we're talking about) haha PHONE SCREENS EVERYONE. PHONE SCREENS. Nothing else...
-
Still the bigger the better ( see you've got me doing it now!) Whether it is for media or not I think the large screen is so much better these days, the clarity of the screens and with today's PPI on the latest phones, they are great for everything.
-
And then there is the battery life, all that extra stuff on board the Samsung will drain that battery, SD card slot... My HTC hasn't got one, I've got 32GB built in, never needed a slot so that wouldn't bother me today or tomorrow.
-
I think it's the build that does it for me, If I were to go for an s6 it would be the edge version, just to try it out, Samsung look as though they have done a brilliant job on the new model, I'm just not sure whether I'm willing to risk that for the sake of my patients whilst waiting for the Touchwiz to load up, I mean HTC it's just there...
-
Well that's errrm... Very informative if I do say so? I'm guessing that's not from personal experience? Haha (Still giggling) And yes the HTC is still 5" same as last year but I've currently got the m7 so it's a slight size improvement, I am swaying towards HTC ( a few years ago I'd of never said that)
-
The size doesn't bother me, I love bigger phones, Shame the HTC wasn't made much bigger than the M8
-
I have used both Samsung and HTC, in all fairness I prefer the HTC, the build quality is just beautiful, nd then the OS Well samsung is all good with is fancy fan dangled features which after about a week slows down dramatically, HTC kept it simple yet sophisticated! So I think I am decided on HTC, I did chuck nexus in the mix but hearing about the build quality that's out the Windows's now!
-
That's the best way, wait for the first update that contacts all the bugs, once they've fixed that, because I've updated my HTC to lollipop and had a few problems since, Just waiting for a bug fix now!
-
That's what I wanted, a true Google experience but I've been majorly put of with the build, little things ( may seem big things to other people) But I do love my HTC and that's two years old and still works as it first did! And thanks for the smart watch advice, I might look into it a bit more, I was considering pebble steel. But will have to see.
-
HTC is it! Any suggestions for a nice smart watch?
