  2. Hi Steve, Thanks for the reply, I've had a look at command reporter, but ideally we'd like non-technical staff to be able to update the schedule etc. In the interim it may be the best way forward though. Thanks Danny
  3. Hi All, Apologies for the canvasing, but I would appreciate your support on a change request I have submitted to Capita. (1502-1359312). I am currently setting up scheduled reports at a number of our schools (we are an Academy Trust), these scheduled reports export a CSV for various data every night and saves it to a network share. However, the scheduled report doesn't actually export the CSV until someone acknowledges that the report has been run by clicking on the notification that appears on the SIMS home page, at this point it finally saves the CSV. To me this isn't really scheduling anything, it just creates a link to a report on your homepage at a certain time. I would appreciate it if you could support the CR by selecting Agree/Strongly Agree via SupportNet Thanks Danny
  4. SIMS itself is unable to do this currently, a while ago we have also looked at InTouch as an option but that can't either. Since then we have now built our own behaviour system which does just this. Notify Class Teacher, Head of Dep, Faculty, HOY, Pastoral Team and anyone else who subscribes to that department's notifications.
  5. Hi, Is it possible to batch import into Behaviour Management? Ideally I would like to import via a CSV or XML. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Can anyone recommend a PHP library for creating PDFs on the fly? I'm wanting to create a PDF of an HTML report through a PHP script, save it to the server and then email it as an attachment. The email part is fine, but I'm struggling to find a good library for creating the PDF. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Hi guys, I'm currently designing HTML email templates which are used by php mail to generate dynamic reports and email them. I've using the Ink by Zurb framework, the CSS has to be inline in order some email clients to render correctly. Has anyone come across a PHP friendly Inliner? The ones I have tried have broken the php confusing it as CSS. Thanks
  8. I would second this, and recommend taking a look at adLDAP (adLDAP - LDAP Authentication with PHP for Active Directory). I'm currently using adLDAP on two live projects, a helpdesk and behaviour management system. The function classes included cover the majority of what you need and are easy to develop to suit your own needs. The only thing I would say is that if you are allowing off-site access then enable port forwarding for your LDAP connection and come in on a different port, just for added security.
  9. Hi All, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience working with Capita as a technical partner? We are looking at developing some of our internal systems to write information back to the SIMS database, in particular the Behaviour Management section. The school is looking to become a technical partner as we support a number of other schools within our school partnership trust. Thanks
