  1. I was on an MS training course recently. We covered InTune. It can manage android devices for you. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/enduser/using-your-android-device-with-intune
  2. 2x Zotac Geforce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme's @ £620 each on pre-order...
  3. I've got a spare machine (one was DOA and this is it's replacement). So I've done a clean Win10 LTSB Enterprise install from DVD and hooked it up to the internet and let it update it's drivers and stuff from Windows update. It detected everything fine. I don't have any unknown devices. The driver versions are newer than what was on the OEM HP image, so I'll leave it turned off overnight and see if it drains it's battery. Failing that I'll grab the latest HP drivers and see if they help.
  4. If I find a solution I will let you know.
  5. I have just took delivery of some HP 250 G4 laptops and have an odd issue I've not seen before. When the machine is off, the battery slowly drains. I have rebuilt on delivery these machines using our standard Windows 10 LTSB Enterprise image. Things I have tried: - UFEI BIOS Firmware Update - Intel chipset / MEI / Thermal Framework driver update - Disable Hibernation / Sleep / Fast Boot power options Any suggestions?
  6. For anyone from google who stumbles across this in the future. I created a group policy preference in the computer configuration to replace the registry key involved. The details are: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power HiberbootEnabled DWORD 0 = Turn off fast startup 1 = Turn on fast startup
  7. I need to be able to disable 'fast startup' in Power Options -> System settings. I have the Win10 ADMX templates in my policy store but I can't see an option to disable it (when I apply my current Win 10 Power Management GPO the option is greyed out and enabled). I have disabled the hibernation options but that doesn't seem to of helped. Has anyone any idea how to do this?

Declare someone a rival, you'll get a steady influence income from that. Make sure you upgrade your colony HQs as I found I was bleeding influence until I did this. I wish there was a bit more feedback from the game when placing and removing outposts. It's impossible to work out what effect it will have at the moment. I lost a load of mines when I removed an outpost I thought had been made obsolete by surrounding colonies.

If you only knew what some of the other Paradox games are like. The irony is off the charts.

You can create custom races, so make your own Thundercats. DLC and 3rd Party Mods will be forthcoming to add even more options. Expect Star Trek / Star Wars / WH40k / Babylon 5 / Stargate / etc total conversions in the fullness of time. It's got steam workshop support so keep an eye on what's hot in there. https://steamcommunity.com/app/281990/workshop/

Paradox games are massively modable (eg, someone modded Game of Thrones into Crusader Kings 2). They also release a steady stream of dlc that not only add extra content but major new games systems.

Stellaris on Steam It's a top down grand strategy game. If you've come across Crusader Kings or Europa Universalis you'll be at home. Here's the pre-order trailer: Here's Quill18's first impressions: After watching a few youtubers play this on Sunday I decided to buy it just before it came out so I could grab the pre-order bonus. I went for the middle 'nova' tier package that gets me all the DLC without the fluff. Installed it and played it last night and suffered from the 'I'll just play a little bit more' and then it was 1am ffs. Also contains the stock Paradox humor:
  20. Don't forget all the DLC will be free.
  21. Played it over the weekend and liked it a lot. I have it on pre-order anyway. Now got distracted by other games.

    SSD in server

I have a FreeNAS NAS with 16x400Gb SSDs in (just consumer drives because RAID10). It maxes out it's 10Gb NIC (Second NIC is on order so I can team them).
  23. Opera on Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
  24. When I pick the option to attach an image via the toolbar and then choose 'from computer' it will let me select a file but there is no confirmation button to actually close the dialogue and start the upload process.
