  1. Awesome! The capabilities of Windows Media Player!!
  2. Thanks for the thought all the same. I will keep an eye on that KB article and the Exchange Team Blog, so if I see something I will post on here.
  3. Thanks @Mark182, but I have already seen this. I am hoping that they will actually change OWA in Exchange 2007 SP3 instead of relying on compatibility mode. I could do compatibility mode though if push came to shove.
  4. The latest update rollup for Exchange 2007 SP3 is 11, which we have already installed and does not contain the fix for the user agent string. I am hoping that MS release update rollup 12 soon, and that it contains that fix.
  5. I may do that once they fix the OWA issue for Exchange 2007 SP3 and when I hear back from the SWGfL regarding staff proxy.
  6. Update Rollup 3 for Exchange 2010 SP3 now fixes the OWA Premium issue on IE 11. Can't load OWA Premium by using Internet Explorer 11 in an Exchange Server environment Just Exchange 2007 SP3 to go now!
  7. True. It does sound like the video is not downloading, which is rather odd. I don't know what format the video is however.
  8. We have a Meru Network with AP1020i APs. We have found that each of these APs can handle 30 clients perfectly successfully with little speed loss. We have roughly 1 AP per two rooms so, at most, 30 laptops will be connected per AP anyway. We are using Single Cell mode. We had ours installed over October Half Term, and are delighted with how it is working. I think we had the latest firmware installed on the APs which fixed some capacity issues, so I gather.
  9. If it is the sports questions demo (with the BMI calculator) then, yes, there is a video on question 4/5. AFAIK it is downloaded I think. Not sure if you have the same demo. Only other thing we had installed was VLC Player and Adobe Flash Player, but I do not think it is a Flash Video. I can't think of anything else as we use Windows 7 and had the video working first time.
  10. If you are using XP then, from reading the instructions, you need Windows Media Player 11, .NET Framework 4 full version, and Visual C++ 2012 installed.
  11. You have my best wishes for a successful resolution. Just remember to start the Invigilator dashboard on a fresh boot of Windows, I have had this happen to me!
  12. Hence why I am testing it so much! I will have run 3 demo tests of 5, 5 and 24 clients before the first live exam in December! You are using the new November update I assume (probably yes if you have installed it recently, as I guess you have?)
  13. Will bear in mind for next time, but I am happy with it working so I daren't mess with it!
  14. I used the info from @skell in post 17 and took the 6 files from the user profile of a working system and copied them to a central location. Using Group Policy Preferences, I deploy them to only our exam user (no other). You need one set of files per room, so you need to apply the policy to the computer group but apply to the user using loopback and item-level targeting to only deploy to the user concerned. 12 random machines across both rooms each worked perfectly. I am going to do another demo test on Wednesday to ensure that 24 machines connect and upload at the same time.
  15. I have an open call with the SWGfL regarding staff proxy not working correctly, IE 10 works fine. We're deploying IE 10 at the moment as that works but not IE 11. I always test new IE versions anyway before I deploy them to find the issues.
  16. I know that Impero have done a fair bit of work on Citrix/Terminal Services compatibility recently, I last used Impero on RDS back on V3.2 and had some performance issues, but I am sure it is vastly advanced since then with V4. My suggestion is to contact Impero and ask them what configuration they recommend, since I know they have done a fair bit of testing on that platform when I was corresponding with them on my issue.
  17. I hope this turns out to be the case. Many thanks.
  18. Do you know if there will be a patch for Exchange 2007 SP3?
  19. I've run an isolated demo test with 5 stations picked at random. It went off fine without any hitches so far. We will also test it using another demo test at some point before December, but so far I am moderately reassured, at the moment at least.
  20. Has anyone that is on the South West Grid had any issues with staff proxy on IE 11? In our testing when IE 11 does an automatic sign-in with a cached password not all of the tabs are unfiltered, only about 2 of them. The rest are still all filtered. Can you turn off the automatic sign-in feature on IE 11 and have it prompt for a login box like IE 10 does?
  21. Well I managed to get it installed (after some entirely random glitches where some test player machines would connect to the invigilator station and others wouldn't). I've asked for an isolated demo test (just ICT Teachers and Technicians) so that I can see if it will work.
  22. I see the install packages are MSIs. Presumably you can get group policy software install to do the installation of the Test Player on the clients, so that then it is only the config stage that has to be done per machine? If not then I am a bit worried as I have potentially 4 31-seat computer suites to do for next month!!
  23. I have been given the unenviable task of making this happen for beginning of December. I am currently looking into this software now. Has anyone made this software work reliably? If so are there any tips anyone has to get this going? How has the new version of the software been?
  24. You can disable that in properties for the computer/user group, under workstation settings.
