Thanks! I think maybe all laptop trolleys look the same after half a term no matter what we do! How on earth Laptop 1 is plugged into Laptop 9's cable and all the other criss-crosses will never cease to amaze me!! I'm going with clips and extra cable ties this time .... roll on October half-term for the big reveal of what it looks like by then!!

Hello, Does anyone have a way of cabling a laptop trolley to stop the cables being yanked out and ending up looking like a bad hair day? Do you bundle the spare cable and tie it up so that there is just enough spare cable for it to be plugged into the device? Is it OK to bundle the cables like this when charging? I have tried many different ways/ties/clips but still after half a term it looks like Medusa on a bad day! Any suggestions/photos would be appreciated! Thanks in advance 🙂

OK, thanks. I used to use PRM Greentech and had access to an online portal to see my collections/certficates, etc. Not sure if the Envio Electronics also have this sort of system?

That's interesting about needing to have a contract with a WEEE supplier - do Enviro Electronics offer such a thing? Most of the emails I have sent with queries to them are responded to with one liners - they don't always sound the most professional outfit! Anyone else had the same?

Ah yes, good point! Our Chromebooks are the smaller 11.6" but would like something that is capable of holding up to around 14" size just in case we size-up at a later date. Thanks

We are looking at purchasing a new charging trolley for our Chromebooks (either two that hold 15 Chromebooks or one that holds 30). Someone has sent me a link to these on Amazon ... they seem a very cost effective option, however they cost much less than anything else I have seen which worries me slightly! https://amzn.eu/d/063Mh90c Is anyone using something like this? I'm currently looking into some options for this in terms of a tool that will allow us to refine the search returns, deduplicate and save as pdf to then be able to perform the redactions. I have looked at e-Redact, Nalytics and will be taking a look at Smartbox.ai and Acuity. If anyone has any others I could have a look at - suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks 🙂

Thanks @browolf - I will take a look. Do the premium features include the ability to search with case sensitive keywords - as I can't seem to see how to do that with the basic version I have using the Keyword search...

Hi there, I'm looking for some suggestions for a new online turtle programming site. We used to use Junior Logo installed on the laptops but the pupils now all use Chromebooks. I find I fall down lots of rabbit-holes ... as when I'm looking for a particular setting, I come across another totally random one that looks useful!! 😂 Back to the autologout - I've ended up here but can't see the setting you have of "lock" ... I see "sign out" (which might be more my thing ... but lock might also be useful!) - am I in the right place? Devices/Chrome/Settings/Users & Browsers/ Browser Idle Timeout: Although, I tested this with a 5 minute timeout but nothing happened ... 🤔

Hi, I'm looking for a setting in Google Admin which will allow me to configure an auto-logout timer for our class Chromebooks - does such a thing exist? I have found some settings inthe admin console under: Security/Access and data control/Google Session control ... but I'm not sure this is quite the thing I'm looking for. Ideally, I'd like the Chromebooks to auto-logout after an hour of inactivity - just so that if a pupil has forgotten to logout before closing the shared Chromebook, the session will be logged out by the time someone else goes to use it. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Hi @Jay241 ... sadly, no - not yet! I did however use Dan's suggested settings (see above) to get rid of the annoying ad privacy pop ups. I'm still on the hunt for the Control Your Data setting ...

Just digging this one up ... is anyone else suffering from the reCAPTCHA issue. Our seems to go in a never-ending loop of sidewalks, motorbikes and buses - no way to get through it! Is there any way of stopping this from happening?!
