Hi Guys, Just wondering which room booking software you currently use? I know this has been asked before but looking for some upto date info on this. Had a headache yesterday trying to install MRBS just such a pain finally got it all installed only to discover more issues ! Classroombookings looks pretty nice although cannot download it due to being blocked in school. So what have you guys got~?

Just Grabbed a free AP off meraki from the Bett show to play with. I don't feel confident in a cloud managed network. Spoke with the rep and asked the what if scenario and he simple said "just means you cant make any changes whilst it's down" ! well done sherlock ! Still I'll reserve judgement until I have had a proper play with it. Just awaiting all the reps from Bett to get back to me and go from there. All Ruckus partners had very big smiles when mentioning Meru, Interesting.

Not at the moment. I'm thinking I will need to install some sort of IP helper onto the server as looking to serve the BYOD network with a second DHCP scope. I guess I need to tag/trunk each port that is between the controller and server. Then map each VLAN to a specific port. Could you give me a quick run down of how yours is mapped to the controller?

I would recommend a dedicated CCTV system, that way once it is installed and configured you can just forget about it. Likewise if your ISP goes down or your router falls over you will still have security. I bought a not so cheap swann system, installed set to record on motion detection and has night vision. If anything happens I have a nice HD video of when, where, what and more importantly who . Hooked upto the TV so makes a great video entry device so I can be lazy (or ignore the inlaws dropping by) Network enabled so I can sit at work and take a look or just use the smartphone app. Worth considering there are cheaper options on ebay that are just as good but depends if your willing to wait on delivery? Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has setup a VLAN on their Meru controller? I am new to VLAN's so jumping in at the deep end, Meru have not been so helpful as of yet (they just want to remote on and make changes << not happy to let them) What I'm trying to achieve - We have a MC3000 controller, and I'm currently looking to set up a VLAN for a second SSID and have our secondary DHCP scope serve clients IP's to segregate them from the main network. This will be for our B.Y.O.D. network.
