Morning All Got my site to site link up and running. Both sites have there own AD and the goal will be to have one AD with sub ou per school, I'm a bit confused on the steps to take next, let's call them site a and site b create forest trust first? What type of trust? Do I create a new dc on site b and make that a member of site A domain? Setup sites and services? Start the process of moving ad objects from site b ad to site a? Once all is moved over to site A break the trust, the decommission any existing servers on site b? Any advice would be great

Evening all We run an ewo service for local primary schools in the area and they need to be able to record information on the students they deal with like case notes etc... So they have a history on the kids they deal with. Does anyone know of a system that can do this. Ideally when the create a student any updates to that student get saved to there record so they can search the kid if they need any historic data if they need to. Web based would be nice. Cheers

Hi I think the reason is the value _SERVER["REMOTE_USER"] has no value. so it must be a config issue with iis. We have anonymous auth and windows auth enabled. We want the site to log staff and students automatically when in school and externally it just acts like a normal site.

Hi We have a joomla site setup on IIS, i am using this plugin for ldap and SSO JMapMyLDAP. I have the ldap side of things working correctly but i am having issue with the single sign on. Just doesn't seem to work. Is anyone using this plugin? if so do is there anything on the IIS side of things i need to configure for this to work? The dummy SSO plugin works ok

to be fair in the years we have had a leased line it has never gone down once.

Yeah leave the exchange running until all of your outlook client are on 365 as there is an auto redirect service for them that runs on the local exchange. Remove too soon and you will need to reconfigure all of your outlook client manually.

Hello We are running a hybrid setup at present and will start to move mailboxes over in the next few days. Is there anything that wont get migrated? Or is there anything i need to tell the end user to do like re setup signature? We already have got the following info out to them re setup mobile devices to point to the 365 mailbox reconfigure Outlook (should happen automatically when outlooks opened) Links to Office 365 and OWA web App mobile Apps
