Sorry to resurrect an oldish thread. Noticed latly all of our dells won't image correctly with the latest win 11 22h2 build nothing in the task sequence has changed just the os iso, use a clone of the task sequence with the older 21h2 win 11 iso works as normal. Anyone else seen this?

We use backblaze but free version can't do it direct the Synology Nas we had use to offload to backblaze but the main version of veeam can fine. We have just centralised the backups on our network and switched to vul licensing which is alot cheaper then our renewal came out at by about £1000 for 20 vul instances this allowed us initially to backup a secondary and all the primarys in the trust so the primarys got a upgrade on the version.

Have two for testing at the moment have the 120gb model which wasn't bad £240ish each. Just need to keep remember it might look like windows but not to treat it like it is. It's a windows Chromebook should do well even in secondary environment as long as the school can understand the use case of these.

Salamander here , creates user from mis data adds to groups email etc, creates net2 account including image from mis, card number is written back to ad which syncs to papercut so no account linking needed. User leaves accounts all disable and move to leavers ou or if moving to another trust school and account is moved to the new schools ou and attributes updated for that school.

We have it on a few machines. Found a few issues application guard was blocking teams on a non admin account so deployed the reg key to turn this off. And credential guard didn't like our enterprise WiFi setup so had to adjust the setup for this as the other option was to disable it but would rather not disable security features.

This sounds similar to issue we had on the new central network we have just implemented, and it was harden paths we noticed every now and again policy's where not applying as sysvol wasn't accessible. Unable to Access SYSVOL and NETLOGON folders from Windows 10 | Windows OS Hub

Have you tried a hp partner. Ours has been quite good with getting customised spec if a standard model wasn't suitable.
-
Inventry here. There been really good with us and are even looking at a complete reconfig of our system to better work in a MAT environment.
-
We only use the old win10 XML to set the taskbar now the startmemu as far as I know is only configurable with intune but we haven't had a need to customise it really task bar covers us for edge and file explorer only.
-
What suppliers are you using and what machine spec it was only i3 and r3 CPU machines which where lesser cashback. Obviously with our value of order we have to get multiple quotes, even looked at other brands and never found anything coming close to the hp prices we get quoted more so once cashback is factored in.
-
Used the trade in several years now never found pcs over priced from suppliers we use and trade in is usually a breeze some years it's more fiddly like boxing each pc up to go back. This year if it's over 10 devices they send someone who will box then all and do it all for you. We have had over 100000 back in cashback this year.
-
From when it launched certain devices where classed as hero devices they sometimes changed in the months these device had extra cashback top-up on them. Luckily the SKU we ordered was one of these our supplier let us know the model which was boosted for when we was putting orders in.
-
Don't get why more people don't make the most of hp trade in. We got £150 back for each device we traded in against a i5 8gb ram 256gb name with hdmi and dp outputs, after trade in these work out about £250-260 a device with 5 year warranty based on pricing we got for our summer deployment.

Unfortunately I've tried this after seeing it said online. So have a few of the non touch model sat on the side luckily the touch version hasn't developed that fault.
-
We never got the option of iPads just a windows Toshiba tablet which where shocking worse then the Geo's. The Geo's where the first things that went. The Dells are the best survivers and the HP's. The Toshiba next but batteries seem to be packing in on them. The new lenovos that came last seem to be fairing ok but have had a few that have just died no charge light and won't switch on.
-
Hp £100 to £150 per device you send back depending on product purchased.

Took a while to run on our tenancy which has 8 schools in it but nothing major. It skips the allready provisioned if it finds a non provision it pre provisions it. We had to do this as two of our schools where going from Google to 365 so needed the. Onedrives preprovisioned for the data migration.

Smoothwall S9 filtering randomly falls over
Chclark replied to timbo343's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I wouldn't expect hik to cause it if you have a DVR these where cameras that saved to the cloud and wrote the files as millions of images and this would crap out the smoothwall. -
Smoothwall S9 filtering randomly falls over
Chclark replied to timbo343's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We had a issue at one of my school's a while back where the smoothwall would fall over, after alot of trial and error it turned out it was the schools CCTV they had at the time it was a web-based one which wrote hundreds and hundreds of little files back over the internet at the smoothwall would get overwhelmed, smoothwall confirmed this so we sections the cameras off and bypassed the smoothwall all was fine then. You haven't got anything similar going through it have you? The only other odd one we have at the moment is another site which if any port using any authentication is used we start seeing drop outs they have to be pushed onto a port which sets filting on one of the groups which isn't ideal. Still waiting for some answers on this, doesn't matter the authentication ntlm or Kerberos they all do the same. -
There are two ways to do it you can add it via intune or purchase the free app in ASM and then this syncs to intune. These ones when deployed do not prompt for credentials
-
Sounds like your pushing apps which are not synced with ASM purchase the app in ASM with enough licences and then sync this to intune. These shouldn't ask for credentials then.

Enrolling fully managed Android devices in Intune
Chclark replied to tmoon-mint's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
We enroll our managed devices as kiosk devices have over 250 android tablets enrolled. Fully managed is suppose to be for end users to sign in -
Estream is what we have gone for, been very good with us making changes to suit the MAT.

We are about to start a migration next week of two academy's from Google to 365. They allready have accounts in 365 as needed access to trust data and have a forewarder on the 365 account. Looking forward for them to be moved over to 365 like the rest of the trust. We have a company doing the migration for us.
