You cannot view or change the Read-only or the System attributes of folders in Windows Server 2003, in Windows XP, in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Well I'm all sorted now thanks to Russ and the Impero support desk.
-
Thanks Russ, I will check ours out tomorrow. Off the top of your head, do you know of a reason why the auto update hasn't gone to 3.1.16 or can you link to an article on the Impero support forum.
-
Mmm. only have version 3.1.14. Is the licence you mention a new one or the existing one for version 3.x.x
-
What is the latest version of Impero client and server, is this also the same as the version that should be automatically downloaded and installed?
-
I was looking at this today. Do computers with the internet 'locked' also appear in the group called 'internet banned'? I seemed to feel that they don't. Haven't really had the time to test properly.
-
I don't think so, but we are going off topic.

It is a KMS client key. Free for the world to use if you have a KMS server for it to communicate with.

I thought AMD64 was used instead of X64. Asking because I use an unattended file with just X32 in it and it doesn't work for X64 systems.
-
Is first post suitable for 32bit & 64bit versions or is a separate unattended file needed for each?
-
Thanks for the rapid reply Steve.

lanview 4 scheduler /italc power on
Don__1 replied to aalonie's topic in Network and Classroom Management
My experience with scheduling in Lanview 4 is that it doesn't switch on the option by default. I usually have to edit an existing schedule and then looking at the console it will, usually, show that Scheduling is enabled. -
How Sysprep Works

It was and still is called Slideshow2.exe and was a free extra for users who contributed to the runnings cost of MST software via a donation. Best ask on the MST web site if it is still available.

Which model of laptop was this with?
-
Quick Launch buttons.

Don't do this. Just use \\domain\netlogon\student The .V2 will be added automatically by Windows 7 when looking for the profile. With your current setting it will be looking for \\domain\netlogon\student.V2.V2

We have a number of new Toshiba Tecra A11 laptops and we also use a mandatory Windows 7 profile with them. The resolution is set to 1366x768 and all users get that resolution.

Windows 7 doesn't Autorun from USB pen drives so any that use that to 'mount' themselves will have issues.
-
Wrong password. Have you also updated the client VNC? I'm off to work now so won't see your reply until much later.
-
Change the LV4 VNC password to your old password. It's in Options.

Lanview 4.0.50 SERVER installs and runs on Windows 7 64 bit. It also detects clients(XP) running on the network. I've not had time to use it on this operating system but it installed without issue.
