VNC from Android device to the Pi
Poults replied to Poults's topic in Raspberry Pi, Arduino & Other SBCs
Have you tried RDP? I have had exactly the same issues with that too, works from Mint but not Android. -
I'm running the latest Wheezy on the Pi and have a vnc server installed which I can connect to from my Linux mint laptop with no issues. However, I cant connect from either my S3 or Nexus 7, I have tried loads of different vnc apps and none will connect, im using the correct ip and port numbers but just keep getting connection refused. Has anyone got vnc working from an android device to their Pi and if so what software combos are you using. Thanks.

Surely if he is lodging with you, you could just ask him to be more respectful?

A least it would be easy to spot in a busy car park.

Does anyone know the default passwords for these projectors? Staff have managed to lock one that we hadn't taken the password off and of course we cant remember the default. Thanks in advance.

Sweet! Didnt know about them! I know what I'm trying tonight now lol. The ammo for a pack a punch gun costs 4500 anyway so if they last infinetly they are well worth it.

Getting addicted to zombies on this, Tranzit in particular. Got to level 23 last night which took over an hour and a half and managed to bank about 20 000 points along the way ready for tonights session.

Have just contacted them about getting a refund for the postage as had the 3-5 days delivery, phones for my girlfriend though otherwise I would be pretty annoyed right now if I had bought it for myself. Seems like a lot of people have been messed around over these orders.

Exactly this, I live in a block of flats and we have BT infinity, most of the other wireless networks seem to be talk talk.

Can anyone recommend a decent night light for a kindle? Something that illuminates then whole screen well and has a flat clip as the kindle is in a case so it needs to sit flush between the back of the kindle and the case.

Wasnt the one included in IOS 6 was it?

[android] Galaxy S3 battery troubles.
Poults replied to difinity's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
As suggested, betterbatterystats from XDA (if you are rooted), and if you are get titanium backup and copy of the backup folder, factory reset, re-root and restore. -
I forgot about the double xp as I didn't pre order with the Nuketown 2025 map, does help having a good clan to play with rather than just randoms. I'm not great by any means lol k/d about 0.75.

Have you even slept since it was released lol

I used to think that was a lot too but then I thought, I go out Saturdays and spend the best part of £50 quid on booze and a kebab and taxis then £50 on a game that I will play for probably the best part of a year isn't really out of the way.
