I would like to create the following groups in surf controls 1 - A group that has web access 2 - Another Group that we can add users to if we want to take away their internet access. 3 Another group that only allows sites from our white list within certain hours And once these groups are created add users to the relevant groups. Also is it possible to customise the not authorised page to have the users name or computername displayed with a message instead of the normal surf control message.

I would like to create a replica of our our current AD and use this for a test enviorment so that I if I make any changes, it wont mess up our live enviorment. What is the best, cheapest and easiest way to do this please? Thanks.

I have been asked to put to together a maintainece schedule for our PC's and laptops can any body give me help into what kind of maintainece I should be doing on a half termly basis. Also I need to do one for our servers such as checking logs and event viewer so again if somebody can let me know what to look for or have a list which they use themselves that will good. Hi am Neville from Nth London near the arsenal emirates stadium.

I need to restore an indivdual mailbox, but as we have not been doing brick level backups, it looks like I need to restore the storage group for that users mailbox. I have read the following instructions from the link below. http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/exchange2003/exchange2003_recovery_storage_group.htm Also I have read the instructions from the backup exec website as we use backup exec 11d and i will be restoring from backup exec 11d. http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/264815.htm I have created the information store group. I had to give it another name because it said The object StorageGroupName already exists. I have added the database that I want to recover, and now see a red arrow down which means the database is is linked to the Recovery Storage Group. It also says On the server that hosts the RSG, there must be a storage group with the same name as the original storage group for the data you are restoring. If no such storage group exists on the server, then you must create the storage group name as it existed originally during the backup and the mailbox store name that the RSG references must have the same name as the backed up version.. is this refering to the information storage i created earlier because the object StorageGroupName I wanted to use already existed wont work when i want to restore. Also when I am restoring do I redirect the information store to the new one I created, even thou the Remote Storage Group resides on the same server. What do i do afterwards to restore the mailbox, it mentions something about exmerge. I am worried that I will be overwrting the exsisting RSG, also do I need people to log off or can i do this with people logged on. I have sorted out the problem.

A teacher had problems logging on due to her roaming profile not being available, so windows used a local profile instead. Her email client had to be configured for this machine, once it was done it downloaded all her emails from the exchange server. She said that she was able to see all her emails in her inbox. When she logs on today on her normal machine all her old emails that was in the root of her inbox have disappered, she only sees emails sent to her Monday, Tuesday all her other emails have completly disappered. She also logged onto the machine that was giving her the roaming profile error message and her emails still didnt show up. Also in her unread folder it says she has loads of emails unread but she says that she has read them all, also when you go into that folder and read one of these emails it disappears completly from outlook. Any Idea as to where these emails are and what is going on? Especially the ones that was in the root of her inbox. Much appricated if any one can help me out with this problem Thanks.
