  1. Thanks for quick reply bencole, save me googling it :-) where do I remove libraries from driving me mad this :-)
  2. We have just randomly started with the same problem tried the registry hack and the problem still exists. :-( Any Advise?
  3. Hi Difinity The shop that I normally go to for repairs said that it was something to do with the home button differences as they where going to use the iPad mini 2 screen...they did also say parts weren't available. I am waiting for the parts to become available as I think 256 for apple to do the repair is a bit steep
  4. Just in case no one has come across this yet...Stick to buying the iPad mini 2 for now as the mini 3's cannot be easily repaired as of yet and apple is charging £256 for their repair cost. Either make sure you purchase apple care when you initially buy it then you will only have £39 to pay when the screen breaks. Another recommendation is buy something like a griffin survivor case.
  5. Hi All, I've been on and off this forum for quite a while may have introduced myself before but just in case I haven't ....Its Craig and I work in a secondary school in Lancashire. (All the best to you all for 2015 and may all your IT projects go to plan)
  6. There's a few shops near me which I've been too they have repaired several iPad mini 2's but are unable to repair the mini 3's yet due to the home buttons finger recognition button. I have another shop ringing me back this morning once they have looked into it.
  7. Thanks Arthur I so the ifixit website, just wondered if anyone new of any shops that have started repairing them yet. I did look into the Apple care also they ask to give the iPad a visual and run diagnostics on it before you are able to buy it. (They want 256 to repair it which I think is a bit steep) I will wait until a repair in a corner shop is available

Has anybody replaced or know if its possible to replace the screen of an iPad mini 3, apparantely its not as straight forward as an iPad mini 2 due to the finger reader home button being hot glued to the screen?
