About Kurgan

  1. just been on phone to barclays, she couldnt find details, it wont do this, and other stuff ffs. im patient but they asked me 3 times my details on an 0845 number 6.6p / min landline and mental on mobile so... barclays have annoyed me numerous times over the years still.need to work out who to change to.
  2. bonkers. obviously works with some people. Had a teacher in the last school I worked in come in with her laptop as her hubby had payed £80 for something to be done over the phone, so we checked it was still vanilla windows. lol. nice one Suppose I need to get something ready incase I get a reoccurence
  3. had an indian fella try this one this morning. His accent was amusing and made me instantly think of it as a scam, only stringed him along for a few mins really. He claimed he was from MS and My computer had been hacked and all my personal info had been stolen and they were going to transfer me to some other department. Crazy I couldnt beleive the cheek of these people, it had the delay at the start before the call got connected so I not sure if that means theres some call center abroad doing this all day.
  4. yeh not much in it really. i once spent a fortune on a heli but never done much, with these quads they are reasonably easy to fly. Have you done the calibration thing to it made a huge diff to mine. It was something like put on a level surface and do some stick motions (ill dig it out if u havent). It wasnt in manual
  5. the one with the LEDs on and some other improvements
  6. Yeh id imagine something in registry set leaving it scheduled as it didnt finish before. Glad its back up for now though Yep def a sticky on the wall (my unstructured planning). Thanks for article - `fsutil` thats a new one (need to update myself a bit)
  7. Best to leave it.. lol if you can! I dont know of a way to stop it I have switched machine off because I was desperate to get it back up, this is not recommended but if you do make sure its not doing any repair stuff and looks like its just reading for errors.
  8. Yep +1 on the Hubsan. I lost my first one, was flying in quiet car park with wood then busy main road - I give it some high up turned into the sun and it disappeared (being small)... dunno where it went lol Second one had lots of fun with it but one arm is broken now, so taped it up but its not what it was!
  9. yeh as its doing a low level bad sector check could takes ages (depends on disk sizes etc.). Ive seen it looping back to sectors its checked too!
