Hi, we have moved over to Fortinet for our filtering and certificates need installing to have access to the Internet. This has been done via a group policy for PC'S and laptops and is working fine. The problem is our head wants anyone who uses a device in school eg. Mobile phones or personal laptops to only do do when connected to our WiFi so we can keep a check on searches etc. Our technicians have managed to sort out how to install the certificate on an iPhone but not an Android device. Can anyone help? Plus, what happens when Ofsted come in and want to connect to the WiFi? They would not be able to get access to the Internet without the certificate. We have been told to set up another WiFi logon with some static ip addresses but have been unable to sort as of yet. Hope this makes sense and that someone can help? Apparently, no other school have said there is an issue apart from ours! Thanks

We received Wonde through our Discovery Education subscription, I set it up and it worked fine on a child's account that I tested then it stopped. I rang Discovery Education up and they said their program doesn't work with Wonde yet!! Strange because it did. Just started using it for Purple Mash and Sumdog but can't get TT rock stars to work. Anyone had similar issues? Thanks

Hi Our head teacher is having problem with her external webcam not working on Teams. It has previously worked and still does on Zoom and Google Hangouts. If you go into settings it doesn’t detect the webcam. Can anyone help please?

Hi Another Zoom issue here, all our classes are managing to record their Zoom lessons except one. For some reason it won't record, they press record and a box comes up saying the location the file will be saved plus a few other things which I can't recall but there is no ok button to press you just have to click the cross to close but then it doesn't record. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

We have used Uniservity Life Cloud for several years now. Always had trouble if a full class tried to log on as it went really slow. We decided just to use it for our website only but gave now built another one on another. I had contact from their sales team in November telling us that they had now moved to New Era and that they could offer either a website only or vle package. I told them we were no longer using it and didn't hear anything else until a couple of weeks ago when the office manager asked if it was OK to pay them £1900. I told her we no longer used it and to cut a long story short were told that because we hadn't told them within 60 days that we didn't want to carry on using it they have renewed our contract with the full package for 12 months! They are adamant we should pay....all we have is a homepage saying we have moved to another website. Anyone else had trouble with them?

Hi. Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I have tried to add different users but same thing happens. I did have the same problem when adding my daughter but then I made her an administrator and signed her up to a new Microsoft account and that worked, however I am trying to add a family members who are quite young as we want to keep an eye on them and set parental controls etc.I have googled it and not come across a fix as yet but it seems to have happened to lots of people!!

I am having problems adding new users on a Windows 10 PC. I am wanting to add a child but it will not sign in, you put the password in and it just signs them out. I changed it to an admin account and it let me log in but then I couldn't do anything. There was no start menu and no access to the internet. Can anyone help please? Thanks Forgot to say...this is on a personal PC not on a school network!

Sorry I seem to have deleted someone's reply! This one. have you tried another brand of printer just add any old crud as a test the printer dosent need to exist so you could just share out a generic text only printer pointed to a dead ip for testing maybe see if its that printer or all printer. We can print to the brother ones in the IT Suite.
