ICT Independent Consulting (ICTIC) Ltd is a young and rapidly expanding IT Support Company for schools.
We provide ICT support and consultancy to Primary and Secondary schools, and Academies across the whole of the West and East Midlands.
Due to rapidly increasing demand for our unique and personal ICT support services we have an immediate requirement for an ICT Support Technician to join our team. The position will initially be part time (3 days per week) but will move to full time as demand increases.

We work closely with, but are independent of, Research Machines (RM) and many of the schools we support are running CC3 or CC4 operating systems so experience in these fields would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across many sites and working with many different technologies. Some knowledge and experience with Windows Server is required but additional training will be provided where necessary, however the role does involve face to face contact with customers so good communication skills are a must.
The role offers the chance to progress quickly and get hands on experience with several different operating systems and configurations.
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
To be shortlisted for this position you MUST have a clean driver’s license and your own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
Essential requirements:
An IT based degree is preferred however a minimum of a BTEC is essential in the field of IT along with a keen interest in all aspects of ICT.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above.
An interest in repairing computers and solving problems with the ability to work to deadlines.
Desirable:
Experience of RM CC3/CC4 technologies.
Experience of working in schools.
Any certifications in IT.

Initial Salary, depending on experience, £15,000 to £21,000 (prorated on a part time, term time only basis) per year rising quickly with experience and responsibility.
