Yes we are using SIMS Connected. It’s just a HTML5 interface.

Within Veeam you can do a one off backup to USB. Is there any reason not to do this?

What is your strategy if you lose access to the Synology, perhaps through a physical disaster such as Fire/Flood? Is it mirrored somewhere else?

I believe if you take the backup line with them, they configure it in active/active, so you could be utilising it and not just having it sat there.
