Yes it does work if i put a character in there, Is there anyway i can change the password without inserting a character?

I will try that All our other passwords do not include characters

I have implemented IISADMPWD it loads and eveything works fine but i get an error saying "Either the password is too short or password uniqueness" Can anyone help All i can find in discussion groups are about the minumum password age which i have checked and is fine.

I have a Exchange 2003 and i have a series of errors which are constant throughout the day every 2 minutes in the Application log. Error Code - 8213 Couldn't find an accessible writable domain controller for domain 'CN=Configuration,DC=DOAMIN,DC=DOMAIN'. DC=DOMAIN,DC=DOMAIN AND... Error Code - 8026 LDAP Bind was unsuccessful on directory MAGRAT.ADMIN.HODGEHILL for distinguished name ''. Directory returned error:[0x51] Server Down. DC=ADMIN,DC=HODGEHILL AND.. Error Code - 8250 The Win32 API call 'DsGetDCNameW' returned error code [0x54b] The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. The service could not be initialized. Make sure that the operating system was installed properly. These three errors are constant throughout the day causing the exchange server to lose connection intermittently. Can anyone help I have looked at the Microsoft site and nothing what it does tel you i have done but does not work. hope you can help faza

Tried the users thing but i am still unable to remote connect to the server

what would isa server be used for in a school, as its the first time i have heard of it. WOuld it be beneficial for me?

What is an ISA? u normally get an error stating your connection limit has been reached... Only other thing I know of that denies RDP is ISA - and I still havent got this working right - i can get it to start logging me on remotely then it just terminates the connection.

Ok i will look at the users tomorrow morning but i ahvew tried a reboot. Do you need terminal services running in order to remote connect, as i am confused @faza: It's also worth checking that you haven't reached the connection limit (2) - task manager will show you this on the 'users' tab. The message doens't suggest this but it is worth a try. Also, try a reboot - magical things seem to happen when you reboot things and problems often disappear (or get much worse ) _________________ Ric Charlton

Hi All, This morning i tried to remote connect to a Windows Server 2003, but when i did an error came up saying The client could not connect to the remote computer. It was working up until friday last week. (ON HOLIDAY UNTIL TODAY). Nothing has been touched Im new to Terminal Services and Remote Connection Dont you just tick the box under Remote Tab to remote connect to a server? Do i need to buy some more terminal service licences, im fully confused Any advice would be appreciated greatly Faza

Im having difficulty finding the GPO setting

Infact if you continue to go up a level you eventually come to Entire network and can see all the servers
