Apple only let authorized repair centers sell their parts. You can find a few sites online though if your School has a credit card that you're able to use.

Filewave is a great tool, just deployed at a couple of sites and has a lot of potential. -
[ipad] Anyone using Ipads in Staffordshire?

get in touch with your local Apple Education Reseller they will know a few as they've probably sold them to them and can give you the best contacts. -
[ipad] List of iPad apps for staff?
AshleyBishop replied to Sam_Brown's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Wow, some people have very negative views on here about iPads in Education. Yes hand a new device to someone and they're probably not going to how many of the hundreds of thousands of apps out there, lets be honest we're all lazy now and expect things handed to or just to be able to google an answer. Here's a handy link to some iPad/iPod Resources or check out any of the Apple Distinguished Educators web pages, I have list of loads pm me if want them (not sure if I can post links on here). Just one question for guys who seem to be negative...why? Anti Apple? Think it's a waste of money? -
Solution I've used for Schools I work with is just by getting a konig adapter box which will then work through the vga input on the over priced and under used smart boards.

Looking for a 10" Tablet - Any suggestions?
AshleyBishop replied to flyinghaggis's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
I've seen many Schools chance their opinion about Netbooks once they really get tested within Education. Battery Life after 1 year is also a question and not to forgot the amount of time you will spend fixing the things. On the positive they are easy to manage although in my personal opinion it should be about the content, learning and teaching. The Hardware specs mean nothing if it's not being used in the right way. -
Just thought would let you all know of a few rumours on the Apple front. As we all know Apple can't comment on the release of future products although I've started doing some planning now as we always seen to get a rough time in Education in the UK due to the time the products are released. The iMac is long due an upgrade, nearly a year since the last upgrade Mac Buyer's Guide: Know When to Buy Your Mac, iPod or iPhone Its no secret that Mountain Lion is coming and this could cause a problem if you're wanting to expand your network and currently running 10.6.8 With the problems and how Lion was incomplete I know quite a few Schools are still on 10.6.8, has everyone on here made the jump to Lion? Whilst this is only a rumour on the link below it could very well happen. Time for it to happen who knows....Just before start of summer as soon as we planned the summer installs is my bet!! We have some motorola xooms which we loan out to school if would like to test one of them? I really would say though at the price range with the iPad 2 now being under £260 that its a no brainer. Its all about the content available when it's for Education. -
Hi All, I'm new here and do a fair bit of work around using Apple devices in Education. Don't worry not here to spam you with Sales PDF's and will just put up the relevant and useful links. One of my customers suggested that I had a look on here and it's quite frustrating to see some of the advice that Teachers & ICT Teams get when it comes to using the iPads for Education. So the question I'm sure you've all seen before....Whats apps are good to use? There's too many to name one but this is a good list to get you started. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AvFbfb1mWoNwdGlweWtkZkFRS1gzUDMtTUtoTEw0MkE&pli=1
