@GREED try running this wsreset - I rant his on a machine to get it to pick it up

Mine is installed. And then its tell me there is updates (even thou I had done all the updates)! lol!

My laptop has restarted and currently says "Setting Up 72%"

Currently I am 45% of the way downloading the update via the store Edit: 63% Apply Changes!

How odd that you gotta install from pen drive!!

@LosOjos I couldn't see sny efi mode in the bios for the dvd drive. It only comes up with press any key to boot ftom cd/dvd once..

In the image, it says about class 3 UEFI devices only supporting windows 8 or newer. The laptops came pre-installed with windows 7!

Have been told by ACER that I can't turn off EFI in the BIOS even thou I have got it set to Legacy BIOS!

@DMcCoy I used DISKPART from Windows 7. It was done by going pressing Shift F10 for the CMD when the Windows install starts

@sted Is there any Linux disk you would recommend? I am not good with Linux!

Yeah it does seem that way. We found the problem with ff23.. haven't tried it in ff24 yet

As you can imagine, its driving me mad. It came with Windows 7 & Windows 8. So we went for Win7 but couldn't use Truecrpyt because of the GPT. So I thought I'd remove all partitions & convert to MBR using DISKPART and then install Win 7 again after I had changed the BIOS to Legacy BIOS and it would work.. It installs but its still GPT!
