Assistant Systems Manager – Weybridge Salary - £23,290 - £27,489 per annum Our client, an academy in south west London are looking for an assistant system manager to join their IT services support team. Reporting to the systems manager, your role will be to support the systems manager in the delivery of a safe and effective school based ICT resource for use by staff, students, parents and the wider community. You will be required to support the development of the schools ICT infrastructure, resources and ICT support team in line with the school development plan. This will include maintaining the schools network making sure proper backup systems, manual and guidance documentation are in place. The Purpose of your role will be to be involved in the management and strategic development of the schools computer network and to provide technical IT support. Your main duties and responsibilities will include; maintaining the schools business systems, to carry out installations and maintenance of hardware and software and to assist staff in resolving ICT problems. To undertake the management of the school’s network environment including (but not limited to) Servers, Desktop & Laptop computers, Switches, Wireless and telephony infrastructure in line with the school’s ICT policy. The post will be field based travelling to a number of schools organising and delivering SIMS training, support and consultancy to a wide range of staff across schools. Technology Support Specialist - £29000-£35000 – North East London & Essex We are currently recruiting for a Technology Support Specialist/ ICT Technician to provide support to schools in the North East London area with travel into Essex twice a week. You will be reporting to the Technical Support Manager. The purpose of this role is to provide Technical Support to school IT systems. Your key responsibilities will include; Carrying out regular technical onsite support visits, completing site visit reports, progressing escalated calls with third parties, to act as 1st-3rd line support to the helpdesk to resolve faults, resolving and closing 1st-3rd line support issues where possible, to create project analyses based on project requirements, liaising with third parties, suppliers, customers and colleagues . Also to complete project installations and write procedures and work instructions where required.   18. SIMS support officer – South West London - £25k-£30k We are currently looking for an experienced sims consultant to help provide support to a number of primary schools in south west London. A mixture of experience in the following capita sims modules would be ideal but not essential: attendance/lesson monitor, sims.net reporting, behaviour management, dinner money, assessment manager, exams organiser and FMS. You must also be able to carry out software upgrades and patches via remote access whenever necessary. Provide assistance with data issues/migration that may arise and escalate as and when appropriate.
