  1. 2 emails sent. I for one think TechSoft should do up their website and have a nice little tidy section for all the drivers, software and firmware updates.
  2. That's alright If anyone needs these drivers at all send me a PM with what driver you're after and what email you'd like them to be sent to. No need to keep posting Viney.

    Noisy Fan

If your CPU has a Heat Sink with a fan attachment (Like nearly all HP Desktops) then you may find that it's overheating. The fan will sound like it's taking off! You could: Check the BIOS' CPU Temperature (If applicable) Re-seat the Heatsink Check that there is enough Thermal Coolant/Paste. If so, clean the original Thermal Coolant with some Isopropanol/Isopropyl Alchohol (Check brand names like Iso-clene or try rubbing alchohol) Use caution with this as it's really irritant and with make bare skin feel very 'dry'. Apply the right amount of thermal paste when the old paste is gone and the CPU (Again use caution, don't damage the pins!) and the heatsink are both dry of Isopropnanananalalapyl . Maybe check that the fan functions in a similar model and doesn't sound noisy, isolating the machine the fan originated from. There is a whole HOST of things you can try! Viney.
  4. Sure! Send me a PM with the email address and you'd like me to send them too. Viney.
  5. Sure! As the only 64-bit driver for this series i'm assuming you're after the A2+. Email going over to you now.
  6. 404 - There is a 64-bit compatible driver for the A2+, there isn't for the A2.... EDIT: Email sent to Danny.
  7. Hi, Send me a PM with your Email. I have 32 bit and 64bit drivers for the LaserCAM A2+ and a 32 bit driver for the LaserCAM A2.
  8. At Magna we're an all HP house, (77/78/79/8200 Elite Ultra Slim...) with Ag Neovo monitors (U-17) and NEC Projectors. Good bits of Kit!
  9. Hi Richard, Are you after 95, Xp or Win7? Bear in mind there is no driver compatible with 64-bit architecture.
  10. Almost a year later: Does anyone have any more information on this?
  11. I thought usability is lost with GUI interfaces as new architecture becomes readily available. I understand the argument "If it's not broke, why fix it" but surely as nearly 10 years has passed with some products, more resources become available to run on updated technology which would be in the best interest of Staff and Pupils 'In an ideal world'.
  12. We have disregarded this as users understand it's slow. As it is non existent with CS5/5.5 we are going for the CS6 upgrade. I thank you for helping me troubleshoot either way.
  13. It's a blooming pain. I just wish there was a definitive answer "No this won't work, yes this is fine" or "Here is the workaround". Why schools find it necessary to use 1995 applications is beyond me
  14. That will probably be why a couple of programs won't work Many Thanks!
  15. I'm going for the same thing here! Units of Sounds v4 will not work, being 16bit on 64 bit architecture. you'll need to upgrade to v5. Again Word Shark and Number Shark will only work if it's version 4.06. I'm having a tough time getting Test Base 32 / Exam Wizard 32 to work on win7 x64... currently using MS ACT 5.6 to get it to compat but I get in a loop.... "Use 32-bit version if running the 64-bit" and "Use 64-bit version if running the 32-bit". and it goes around and around :L any pointers?
  16. Sorry that was a fail input. We don't use Bonjour. :L
  17. That is a viable work around, but certain members of staff have complained about this, strange arguments that we could hope to deal without. We use Novels iprint.
  18. It will work fine when connected via a usb, but thats because it doesn't show as a networked printer. I am unsure about setting up using a local IP port, will this involve removing it from our ipp? there are classes in and out of there constantly. We need to have this networked capability as other teachers of the media classroom print from around the school. What would you reccommend?
  19. Sorry, there wasn't enough information behind this. I have tried the U driver as well as as many working patches that HP can provide. It is all networked printers. however Ricoh sent me a fix, HP cannot provide the same. We use iPrint and they cannot seem to find anything their end. We currently run Windows XP SP3.
  20. Hello all! I was recommended to try edugeek to sort out general issues by my Network Manager, having only just joined the education industry I knew not of it's existance before hand, but it does have a wealth of knowledge! I am encountering an issue with photoshop. If you have a networked printer set as your default printer then photoshop will stall and crash. However if you do not, it will load up fine. After talking to no less than three representatives from HP (HP Color LaserJet CP3505n) and they cannot think of anything in the line of a patch. We at MCS are looking to upgrade to CS5 in the summer, however, we would love to have a temporary work around solution. We do not encounter this with our RICOHs. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, can anyone lend a helping hand? Many Thanks! Calum.
