I've signed in twice since 5.1 hit and each time I've only managed to move a few feet before going and playing something else. Hopefully I'll be able to get into it this weekend.

This sounds like something I should get in on, hadn't heard of it before now! Our house tends to be a bit frantic around Christmas, there used to be the usual attacking of the parents at 6AM, but now it tends to be the other way around. I have to be dragged out of bed for the present opening ceremony.. may face time in this year. We get to see our grandparents though, which is always nice. There's a big family effort when it comes to Dinner too, everyone gets stuck in and gives a hand. Makes a nice change from most of us attempting to kill each other for various reasons ^^ As for the new iGadget, my sister is getting a iPhone for her 18th (Boxing Day) from the parents, and a laptop from me for Christmas. I may have my work cut out for me.

Hellavator is amazing, I have one on my old world. No water at the bottom though? Need something to land in man!

I'm doing well, no purchases at all yet! Whether this will be the case when the Christmas sales hit is another matter!

Played episode 1-4, I'll save 5 for the next time I have a friend round, he likes the story line and is too cheap to buy it himself It IS a really good game. I love point and click, and I love zombies, so it's the perfect combination of the two!

Only three or four?! Such resolve! I tend to buy that a week if something takes my eye. I have 160 games now, I've finished maybe.. 6/7 of them? Luckily, the only thing I don't have is witcher 2, and I'm yet to finish the first one!

Depends on which aspect you mean by difficulty, SP was the easiest veteran I've ever cleared, but I'm probably just used to it by now. Multiplayer is easier in some aspects, harder in others. I find survival harder, but getting kills / levelling seems to be easier. As for zombies, same as always really, difficult until you find the right group of team players and tactics.

I don't think the issue is just weapon balance to be honest, it seems like the play style has adapted since Black Ops. Game pace since then seems to have increased quite a bit. In Black Ops I tended to see people trying to be stealthy and more cautious, MW3 and Black Ops 2 seems to be a case of: 1)Grab SMG 2)Run 3)Gun I still try to keep a semi-sneaky approach, but it doesn't seem to work as well as it did in Black Ops.

I like to stay on the move, unfortunately, so do shotgunners Mostly use the 3 burst weapons or the M27, assault rifles have always been my specialty. In KC, you tend to get a bit close for comfort sometimes too, so you can't always avoid

That it does, unfortunately, most are using laser sights to cut that section out. I have shotgunned, I'll throw my hands up and admit it. However, it was the KSG, which has no pellet spread as it fires a single slug. I like to think of it as a sawn-off rifle. Incredibly powerful at a lovely range. You just can't miss, so aiming is a must!

Not too sure about the balance, when I first started I despised the SMG / Shotgun users, it just seemed too easy to run around blind firing, it's like nobody had ever heard of LT / L1 / RMB. It seems to have calmed down a bit now, people actually try to aim from time to time, but some maps like Hijacked are a nightmare for it. As for the hunter killer drone, don't complain about my baby! I love that thing so much, I think it's 525 points to use it, works out at 5 kills and an assist. I must confess, I prefer to use it as a direct projectile at the minute, many a riot shield user has sprinted at me, only to turn tail when they see that bad boy start flying.

My K/D was around 1.1 when I started, I'm at around 1.25 now. Had a few games of kill confirmed where I came +40, so that really helped give it a boost. There's a lot of team work involved in KC, you just don't get that with randoms. The 6 of us can almost flawless an enemy team with the right tactics, though party chat turns into a mess of "denied, confirmed, denied, got them, confirmed for ya'" Gets a bit loud

Sleep? What is this sleep you speak of?! Nah, got the same 6/7 hours as always. Double XP helped though, so did having a team of solid scorers with me in every game. We've been playing together since CoD 3 and still going strong!

Me and CoD have a love hate relationship, love the game, hate the amount of time I spend on it. I'm playing on Xbox (Gamertag: Darc Apocalypse) and currently 2nd Prestige level 52 with 2 golden assault rifles, both prestige 2 and about 2/3 levels from hitting max on them. Made it to top 30,000 in the kill confirmed game type last night, probably dropped by a considerable amount now. Finished the campaign on veteran and really liked the multiple endings, I think I've seen 3 of them now. Just need to get the last few achievements for my 1k, but Hitman just came out, so it looks like I may have cut down on CoD

I get the "Friendly" spiel quite a lot, then they try a pickaxe to the face. First guy got my SMG emptied into him, all 5 rounds that were left Stole his pickaxe though, then was running around with some guy for 5/10 minutes, he tried to kill me with a flashlight. Didn't really want to kill him, he showed me how to quickly melee kill, but it came in handy. For the record, pickaxe > flashlight.

So far I'm a bit.. well, meeeeh about it. There doesn't seem to be much of a community to it. I've met 12 people in the past day or two, they've all attempted to kill me. 2 have succeeded, the others didn't realise that the shotgun on my back was loaded! I still keep my eye on it though, may get a nice group eventually!

It was either Halo 4 or Black Ops 2 for me, had to go for the CoD in the end. Getting it at the end of the month though, and from what I've seen, I'm not going to be disappointed! I hope the multiplayer will be as engrossing as 3 was though, even with all the additions to Reach, I just couldn't enjoy it to the same extent.. I have no idea why.

Least you can finish your jigsaw!

There are a lot of Extended Universe books set after the fall of Vader and the Emperor, I'm sure they'll find something they can focus on with Lucas and maybe some of the extended universe writers. I wouldn't put it past them going down the path of the re-establishing of the Jedi Order, ie Grand Master Skywalker, and introducing Mara Skywalker. There's a lot they can do if they use the books as a starting point. Quite interested to see what happens.
