Yes most of the new features such as folders, and wallpaper (although that's not yet enabled for 3G users yet, awaiting the next release!), you can actually 'hack' the multitasking on the 3G by editing a file ... although i haven't done this yet. i've found a few bugs, music stops playing and won't start, alarm won't turn off, won't charge .. although all of these have been solved with a reboot

Has anyone booked a holiday in store with Thomsons .. i've gone on the website to book a holiday for me and my better half and found one .. but am rather adverse to paying extra to book to have our seats together. Does anyone know if i go in store will they skip this surcharge.

Yep, running it on a 3G and no multitasking on the 3G i'm a registered developer with apple so it's legal

I resisted the urge to buy the 3GS .. i will wait with anticipation to see what the new hardware will be come June

As a dev ... i'm liking OS4 already ... although i have a 3G so no multitasking infact i was so much of a geek i actually installed it last night .. was up till midnight re-syncing

After reading the march fool thread i have an urge to pull an april fools joke. I found this Upside-Down-Ternet does anyone know if it's possible with Smoothwall as i feel i could have some fun with this any other suggestions are welcome! Ta Dan

I need to come up with some training Ideas for our Teaching and Support Staff, I plan on using limesurvey (LimeSurvey.org - THE Survey software - free and open source!) to send out a survey to ask questions and get a better feel for what staff require training on. Although my mind is drawing a blank on what questions to ask in the survey. If anyone has any feed ideas i'd much appreciate it Ta Dan

Windows 7 on a Macbook .. bah ..! Must admit yes i love my iphone and macbook .. i resisted upgrading my iphone last year so the money that i'll was going to spend on the ipad i'll use to pay for the new iphone that will hopefully be coming out.

i'm disappointed .. i personally would of liked it slightly smaller say 9" and running full blown OS X ... the price point is spot on ... mind you we never know what's around the corner. I'm predicting the next apple event to be in March with the preview of iPhone OS 4

when i do my upgrades in July i will be doing clean installs

It's 12 virtual screens (spaces) on OS X perfect for splitting things up and keeping things separate!!

which one? http://grab.by/1PAg

bugger .. i missed the cuff links ... if someone wants to get me a pair ... i'll trade you for the edugeek case sticker i got from dos_box today

That wouldn't stop them using the network sockets in every room!

Anyone here working a boarding school. Do you have any policys for internet access in boarding houses? I'm being told that we have to turn off internet access through out the night to the boarding houses. I'm being told that it's a legal requirement after a conference the boarding staff went of. Can anyone help me shed some light on this. Thanks Dan

All so what's the status with BSF at this school ?

I'm assuming your work at this School? Out of curiosity what is your position there?
