I've found the Microsoft Press books a good read. I also have the testout videos which goes through everything. also worth looking in the cheap book stores you can find plenty of good books in there. As i read and learn the material i make detailed study notes and try the examples for my self. I'm using a server with 2003 r2 and a pc with xp. I do practice exams and then book the main exam through PearsonVue

Is it xp Missing windows folder? So you can't even boot in to safe mode? If you could boot into safe mode you could have done either restore to previous point or "sfc /scannow" to repair any missing/corrupt .dll files. As long as there is no work saved on the machine you culd try installing xp with out formating the drive. I havent tried it but i've heard it should leave all programs previously installed alone. I would double check on that though

and the point of having administrators is? Dont you think thats would would happen if it was the case?

There are plenty of websites out there that have information on how to bypass network security. sarah - This surely means that anyone with an interest in IT can join, and surely that was not really the point of Edugeek? And what would you say about the people who constantly put up random threads that have noting to do with either computing or education? I have a 14 year old brother who is well in to php, css, etc and he uses forums all the time for help and information. Because he is 14 does this mean he has no right to accessing public information? Hi, I guess you would have to add there account names the the exceptions list. I dont have that problem here, because every laptop i hand out to staff get a generic teacher account. Would love to see picture of pcs on boards.

My best friend was on his motor bike on his way home. the road that leads in to the village he lived sort of went up a slight hill which has a blind spot as he came over it some kids had been walking there horse across the road on the other side of the hill and he slammed right in to it. Police say they couldnt tell what speed he was doing because of no skid marks. they said another way to teel what speed he was doing is measure the horse, but the horse had lost al of its blood. that was a bad year for me since my brother was also murdered. life sucks
