Just done a masive upgrade for the second time with Viglen, Ravi has been our accout manager and has done a superb job making sure evrything goes the way it does with out any stress. Technical support is fantastic, I tend to use them for a second opinion or if I'm totally stuck on a problem. Technical support is always friendly and happy to help and advice where ever possible. Hardware returns for products under warranty or not is always quick.... often next day delivery. Due to my expereiences with Viglen, I would much rather get my gear from Viglen rather than HP, Dell, and especially RM. Cheers Ravi for all your hard work recently Kev

Equiinet have created an update for the cachepilot to allow me to join the cachepilot to server 2008 AD All is working how it should be now. not sure if this update will be pushed out any way but here is the info. I SUGGEST IF ANYONE TRY'S THIS THE SHOULD CONACT THERE PROVIDER FIRST. 2008 AD This will work now - CachePilot needs to be on code v 5.2.0 to Nub is available from Index of /~upgrade/520 Apply nub 1683 first then nub 1687 NB - boxes have to be on 5.1.3. code at the mo to do this, I'm almost certain you are but check first Download the nubs onto your LAN somewhere Log into CP GUI and go to Maintenance/Advanced/Upgrade/Upload Check it's currently 5.1.3 - if not then contact your easynet manager!!! If it is then choose the nub from the LAN drive and click OK - CP will load the nub and reboot itself. Repeat with 2nd nub. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes per nub - but you'll not be able to use CP while it's doing this...

Hi gang, We've just installed an apple suite in our music department. Some of our kids have profiles setup on our windows system to allow the following: 800x 600 screen resolution large mouse slowed the mouse down to crawl speed etc etc Our music teacher has put a request in to have a profile created for our SEN kids to enable them to use the macs. It took me a good week to setup the system and Im not sure how I can do thins. current setup 2008 AD Apple xserver macs binded to ads and ad kids logon using normal username and passwords and can get access to the SAN server for storing there musical creations. has anyone created a special profile and how did they do this? additional questions 1. some of the machines keep losing connection to the 2008 ad so users can't logon. This is becoming a pain. any reason why and how can I fix this. 2. any recomendations for SEN mac keyboards? ok... if anyone can help me I would really really appreciate this, Im not a mac user, and this is a big leap for me... nothing like been challenged ey!? cheers gang

Just found this site, one of our kids has been hard at work making there own little bypass site. Nothing too it but thought I would mention just incase. glype proxy this has now been blocked here. the website Glype is already blocked here, but for good measure I've added it to our ban list.

This is really getting on my t1t5! I've sucessfully setup an imac and imaged it, after that I then sent this image out to 9 other imacs and they all have the same name as the machine I origonaly imaged. origional imac_01 ghosted machines imac_01 (02) imac_02 (03) imac_03 (04) etc etc etc I've been searching the net trying to find a simple answer to a stupid problem and everyone is saying you need to go to 'system preffrences - sharing andthen change the machine there.... but its grayed out!! any ideas, help, or a gun would be greatfully appreciated

Hi gang Out of intrest but how quick I your login times? How did you create your profile? How does redirecting the application data help? Under my profile I have the following example Staff - folder Ntuser.man Application data - folder Desktop, start menu are redirected using gpo It takes 20 sec for start bar and desktop to appear and about 10 sec for user to start using the machine. Any idea how I can improve Current setup Server 2008 Windows xp sp3 ie7 Cheers

using xpSP3 no vista clients on network... Can't believe I did not realise this

This is starting to drive me a little mad lol Im having trouble trying to point the redirection to the users individual Favorites folder I have S:\ mapped to \\W8E-DC01\%USERNAME%Cached$ which points to the users work folder. so I tried the following UNC path in the folder redirection for Favorites \\W8E-DC01\%USERNAME%Cached$\Favorites I've done a GPUPDATE but still having no joy. Can anyone help? Cheers
