  1. I would suggest finding out when they are going to use them next and going down to see what they are doing, it might be that they are expecting them to load instantly or they are doing something silly.

Looking at getting into web hosting, The area is currently very saturated but can be profitable if you stay with it for a length of time, would first look at getting a vps then eventually getting a dedicated server and migrate the clients over. Does anyone have any experiences on this and what are others thought? Thanks
  9. we use crashplan and pay i think its around £300 for the year and it is theoretically unlimited, started with 3tb and just asked them to double it to 6 and they had no problems
  10. we ended up getting a RICOH SP C440DN as we have the xerox 6500 all around site and they were getting through them after about two months with the amount they printed / page coverage. 2 months in and this one is ok, got it so we only paid for the printer, ink is charged per page and don't pay for the carterages, and it has full warranty on it so if it breaks it is fixed!

IT: How to Set Up Your Own Terminal Server Using Remote Desktop Services On Server 2008 R2 We have 5 vms running, one as a gateway, other 4 as session hosts, they each have 2 cores and 8gb ram, all our staff and students can connect to them our of hours, and we use them also on our "thin clients" comfortably have 80+ users on at once..

CMD diskpart list disk select disk %number% clean create partition primary select partition 1 format fs=ntfs quick active exit then copy an extracted iso of windows onto the usb go to the "Sources" Folder replace install.wim with your image (Still calling it install.wim)

  22. Want to implement VLANs on our network, understand basic concept but where do you start, does anyone have any suggestions on where you can learn basics and onwards, also what things did you have to overcome when you implemented VLANs?
