Morning - theres LEA "training" on Hwb in Carmarthen on Friday 18th (anyone here going?), which I have manged to get an invite to. It seems that once Hwb is rolled out, the LEA are to provide the 2nd line technical support and LP the 3rd line, which if you apply a bit of logic, means the school IT Support team have to provide 1st line. Reading though the paperwork, the roll out should be complete by 2014 and funding for Hwb ends in 2015 (at this time). Most staff here were reluctant to move to our LEA ePortal/VLE solution and Hwb is starting to be a headache already as staff are moaning about it :/

@penfold - I bought this one when my daughter was born BT Digital Video Baby Monitor 1000 (064551) - BT Shop. You can add extra cameras and change view and talk back to baby using it. We've got two cameras, one at each end of Olivia's cot so we can see where she's wriggled off to Ross

A long, long ago... I had a six month old cousin died on Christmas morning. She had been perfectly healthy and had even received her first ever present. She was went to sleep and never woke up. Her death was attributed to SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome - NHS Choices). After that, Christmas lost its charm and for me it was just another day. Here I am twenty years later and I have an 8 month old daughter of my own. Every day I stop outside her room in the mornings and listen to her breathing (she has a laryngeal stridor, so she makes funny noises which to be fair can be hilarious) and I know its silly but it keeps me happy. So for the first time in a long while I'm looking forward to Christmas. Luckily, it turns out that Olivia loves Christmas lights and shiney shiney things so I'm looking forward making an effort to dress the house to make it special for her and Anna (my wife, who loves Christmas and yes it has been difficult because I wasn't that bothered about Christmas). Some times i thknk we lose sight of what's important. If you don't like Christmas, you don't like Christmas and conversely if you love it, you love it. At the end of the day, do what makes you and yours happy, not what makes everyone else happy. Ross

How about these? I tend to be a bit anal when it comes to cars (I worked in a garage) and I did a lot of research, read reviews of tryes and so on before I bought new ones from my car. In the end I repalced all 4 on my Astra estate with Michelin Enery Saver+ Tyres. Michelin Energy are still the best for longevity IMHO. I have found that with these new Energy Saver+ I am gaining a few more miles per gallon too (about 545 -555 miles on a tank, depending on my driving from 530 - 540). Tech Details here - MICHELIN Energy Saver + | Tyres | MICHELIN @kmount - I had Pirelli's in a similar size on my X-Type. I changed them as soon as i could, i found them to be noisy, they didn't handle and the followed all the holes/groves in the road. I ended up putting Michelin Primacy HP's on the Jag as i couldnt get Continetal's soon enough. These are just my oppinions - each to their own! Ross

I've used Millagte for the supply of quite a few items of late, both in school and in my self employed job. Luke is always on the ball with the priceing and goes out of his way to help where he can. Not had them to do an install yet but with new rooms being created, I'd be more than happy to have them do the work.

For some reason the vauxhall 1.2 engine is prone to mayo on the cap. its just a characteristic of that engine. Just keep an eye on the water level.
