  1. +1 for portability just remember to brush lightly/clean the filter on the bottom once in a while to keep it working at full power!
  2. I got it working to day after a member of staff required dictation and windows 10 version was awful. Word online was great but they haven't released this feature to powerpoint, outlook, onenote yet unless you're in the US! To get dictate.ms to work you need to release: officedictate.azure-api.net as a Custom authentication exception (which we have done in our smoothwall) and it is a vast improvement.

  7. Having profiles deleting seems to be the main cause of issues we have found.
  8. have you blocked cortana and search ui? We have had to go to each PC that has a desktop printer and install it locally so it can be held rather than MFP as they seem to be ok?
  9. Am I worrying unnecessarily as I don't want to revert back to having to firefight as students once again find loopholes?

    Searchui

To move towards 8103 and avoid having to use LTSB I need a way to not allow the use of searchui as I have com's and run blocked programs yet you can still type gpupdate for example and that is still allowed. Everything regarding removing search has been enabled that I can see in group policy. Blocking searchui makes the icons greyed out on first opening, is it just something the students have to put up with ?
  11. This is because Mircosoft have now tied cortana with searchui Looks like a lengthy process of checking gpo's but someone has kindly started this process: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-10/190996-cheeky-request-stealing-gpos.html
  12. Another problem you will face is that emails are .msg format and only accessible with a microsoft product or converted as authorities are asking for pdf format. Hard copies would be chargable along with time spent.
  13. We have just gone through this and had to add the word redacted to any names shown it took 3 members of staff at least 5 days to do this for over 3000 emails including the attached documents, I believe it is all emails that refer to the person in question whether they have seen it or not.
