So, will this stop snipping tool? Couldn't you just print the page to .pdf and send that? Also, if it was me, I would take a photo with my phone and send from that - no evidence on company equipment then.

Hi, We are having this issue as well. I thought we (SBB and I) had broken it as we were looking at filtering issues on chromebooks at the time. Sometimes the button is greyed out, other times not there at all. I did powerwash but then had to connect via a hotspot to re enroll (in a very dodgy signal area). Switching between hotspot and our wifi either breaks it or fixes it. Wish I had found this thread yesterday!! I have spent 2 (stressful) days chasing my tail trying to get this resolved to only now find out its not just us :-) Of course SBB didnt let on that fact.

I had this when I moved net2 from an admin PC onto a server. If you get in touch with Paxton support whey will (they did for me any way) send a download link to get the software. I also had to get something else sorted (cant remember what it was now) but they were very helpful.

We use Wonde for synching SIMS with Google. I didnt set up our Google accounts so not 100% sure on the process but I can confirm that it seems to work just fine.

If I am reading this correctly, then you have set the task to ONLY RUN when a user is logged on? The task will run when you manually start it because a user is logged on. If the server is logged off there is nobody logged on and the task will not run. Your previously working task is set to run whether a user is logged on or not.

Hi, Its been a few years since I had to do this but if memory serves me correctly you need to plug directly into the zone director device with a laptop, after a reset, before you can configure IPs etc. Not sure which port it was though but there's not much choice. :-)

SBB - Chromebook Netsweeper setup

Having the same issues here. Clicked to pay but then informed that my admin ac (any admin it seems) does not have the right to do this. The instructions SBB sent me are clear as mud. Have had a call open with them for weeks, even got our dfeppp guy looking into this and SBB don't seem to be talking to him either. At least they are filtered as student devices but this doesn't help if we need to track who triggered the alerts. Good thing we have not deployed the Chromebooks yet. -

I believe I got this working before Christmas. I had to login as sysman and enter the settings (other users could not save the data). Below should be a screenshot of the settings we use. HTH -
[1709, fcu] Previous technician disabled windows updates... why???
pacapps replied to dapaulio's topic in Windows 10
Could it be that the Windows 10 computers had been set up update from other Windows 10 Computers? I had this at one school I used to support. https://www.digitalcitizen.life/how-set-windows-10-get-updates-local-network-internet -
One of the schools I support are currently moving to Chromebooks, so I have had to look into this myself. Only briefly as our support contract is coming to an end and the new Tec guy has been setting them up. It would appear that AD integration is only possible with Intel based devices. "Before you begin Confirm your device is supported. To use Active Directory to manage Chrome devices you need Chrome OS version 61 or later and your Chromebooks must run on an Intel®-based platform. Chromebooks with ARM chipsets, such as the Samsung® Chromebook Plus, aren’t supported." https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7497916?hl=en I know that this particular school purchased 30 Chromebooks based on the ARM processor for student use.

HI Dave, One of the schools I support has been having issues ever since they went over to Reading Cloud. I have lost count of the times I have been directed to the same tec documents and provided evidence that we are configured correctly, they have even remoted into the system and checked the settings themselves. It appears to be working OK(ish) for a while and then slows down / fails to load etc. I have checked that all the sites they want white listing are not blocked (they are not), however some of the sites report as being moved, 404 and 500 errors reported. (I have emailed them the list but had no feed back from them other than they want another remote session). In my experience its always the schools fault and nobody else has issues but a quick check on edugeek proves otherwise. The Librarian has been having issues even when she accesses the system from her home PC, they cant blame the school system for that. I hope you are sitting comfortably because it could be a long ride!

Recently had similar issue with Chrome and Flash and I have come across the following which may be of help, (I think it was posted elsewhere on this site), the person who originally posted the response says it was a known issue (by RM) Anyway the info i below Symantec can cause an issue with Chrome updating (Flash in my case) the following steps have helped resolve the issue for the admin user in one of my supported schools. On an affected computer, log in with the SystemAdmin or admin privileged user. Click Start, Run and type smc -stop. Go to the Chrome browser and type Chrome://components. Check the Adobe Flash Player version has changed to 23.0.0.205 (or later) or click the 'Check for update' button. You can also check the version by logging in to this site: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html Click Start, Run and type smc -start.
