its all links and only on her laptop, if she emails me the file it works fine on my PC. also its all links, even Google i will have a look again and the AV and Firewall but im pretty sure i have already killed them both as a test...

hi all, i have a user and when she tries opening a link in power point she gets a message "cannot download the information you requested" the link itself is fine and if you copy and past it into a browser it opens with no problems, its just when clicking the hyperlink in Power Point (2007) loads of people have this issue on the web but i cant find anyone who has found a solution yet

why is this in the Educational IT Jobs forum? would it not get a better set of replies if it were in a better forum?

i use Xirrus at my school and its really good, we looked at lots of other solutions but none were anywhere near as good. PM me if you want to come and have a look

Hi all, we have deployed Google Crome and an alternative to IE and have found its really easy to get to games. Has anyone else had issues with this and is there an easy way to block them or turn off the access to games?

i would highly recommend the Xirrus system. It’s not the cheapest but it is the best, we have it in our school and can get 90 n clients in three adjacent rooms all logged in in no time at all. The density of users is great and the support is second to none. PM me if you want to come and have a look at it in action...
