Modus

For the longest time we've had separate vlans and SSID's for our hundreds microsoft devices (uses cert based auth), apple devices and google devices. I'm thinking about consolidating to 1 SSID and 1 vlan for wireless devices, do any of you have a setup that is like this? I know the apple vlan and SSID was created because of how chatty the apple devices are and because of the size of the apple updates.

A few months ago the file server crashed after hours so the on-call tech restored all the users home folders from tape, he set the permission incorrectly so anyone can see into all home folders. I need to correct this but I'm wonder if there is a way to do it without removing the users permissions per home folder? Can anyone help?

I copied all my drivers to a drivers folder and used the sysprep driver scanner(which saves the location of all your drivers in the registry) and upload image to be deployed out. I have 2 images and thats it the one i deploy has 5 gigs worth of drivers and that image works on any hardware with no problem.

click on the infomation button then on the left click on the kernel updates link. then you should see a list of kernels that you download into fog, see this site to find out what kernel to use WorkingDevices - FOGProject Wiki

it wouldnt most of the time the slowness is caused by the wrong kernel on the fog server
