Ask your learning support department they are currently doing the test software on me won't say for sure but gives you the indication if you are or not. Russ

Well tried both ways tried just microsoft snmp no joy Can't seem to see why this not working.. Russ

I am lead to believe that built in snmp is fully complaint and dosn't work Russ

Checked with getif and not broadcasting the messages... Wonder if using net-snmp does the ms snmp need enabling.. Russ

Got strange problem got one server installed net-snmp on it set the config file all worked ok. Groundworks is seeing the snmp messages no problem. Two other servers installed net-snmp copied config file across started the service and groundworks does not see the error messages. I also tried redoing the config file on the 2nd and 3rd server no joy. Anyideas.. Russ p.s This is in nagios part of groundworks?

To certain degree I think it does. Here in Leicestershire the director of CYPS has been asked to be informed straight away any data lost occurs trust me that makes heads sit up.
